Let's be serious here. Any one of Leeds first or second team 3/4 would be fine for Wakefield. They are blessed and we are not.

Let's be honest Leeds will have world class players across it Wakefield won't we just need good SL players. Remember the play offs we pushed them all the way but just lacked some pace out wide and got ripped apart.

I'd be happy with Fox scoring another 17 tries next season and just tightening up his defence a bit more. He's good at running the ball out and knows where the try line is. Looking forward to Lynne giving it a go. Welcome to Keinhorst I trust Agar understands the balance of the team and that he'll add something different. If Fox/Lynne struggle Keinhorst can come in.

I agree. I'm happy with our back line but we need some depth but I don't think we are in a position to be choosey. BJB or Kienhurst or whoever will be welcome and would start at somebody else's expense.....imho

Keinhorst is solid and unspectacular, a better option than the rumour of Vickery by a mile.
BJB would be a top dollar signing, blue chip with plenty of talent.
Can't understand why BJB is getting pushed to the side , when it was McDermott that took him to London.
Would take Lineham over Briscoe at this time.

As for Foxy, even if he did score 17 tries last season how many games did he lose us? Sorry but if there was more than a chance of us getting BJB I would drive him there myself. It will never happen though.

Lets also not forget Agar had to pull him from the field to prevent us loosing to Cas in our last game. Teams will be going at Fox all season and they will score plenty down his side.

damn coaches spotting their weaknesses.... I honestly thought that'd have been Fox's last game, surely RA can see teams will target that wing all season

They have done for the previous two, both wings infact. Poor defenders together with what looks like team instructions leave Trinity vulnerable out wide, regardless of who plays there. Fox compounded this by coming up with a number of costly errors too. He likable enough, scores plenty and gets through a tremendous amount of work with the ball, he's just very prone to brain farts. I suppose that's why he plays for a bottom 4 SL club.

Trouble is with some of our supporters they get all soft and sentimental about players. However to me the club comes first and to stay up next season we need to be ruthless and cut out as much deadwood as possible.

Having said that when our chairman at a public forum tells everyone Fox should be the first name on the team sheet (according to Danny Kirmond) then I start to worry.

With Fox being a confidence player and a likely starter, I can see the benefit of his captain publicly stating his confidence in him.
