| Funny how Trinhomeandaway only pops up when there’s trouble.

But for me, the players we have are good enough and not performing. That is either coaching tactics or individual players.
We've seen them play better.'"
I honestly feel that age has caught up with the Trinity back rowers yet they persist in selecting Ashurst and Pitts. Batchelor and Tanginoa need to be given a sustained run with Whitbread at his natural position of 13. It’s the players not Carter…that and the club appear to be insufficiently financed hence ‘bargain basement’ buys all the time.

I agree with this.
Pitts and Ashurst are good safe pairs of hands who occasionally show up well but not often enough.
Batch and Tanginoa need to be given a chance of a few games to change things up.
I doubt after bringing in Butler there is any money left for another signing so we have to do something with what we have.
As Wayne Bennett says “if you do what you have always done, you will get what you always got”.
A back 3 in the pack of Batch, Tanginoa and Whitbread need to be given a run.

Yes he made mistakes ie last year letting cc waste what momey we had due to believing he was here this year.but dont we all make mistakes.it is what it is it pains me to say we are getting relegated (it kills me as i love the club and some i love more could well and truley be affected)but it is what it is
It is, most comments I've read seem to be more constructive rcriticism rather than attacking, which there is no harm if its constructive rather than personal.
There has been a few sarcastic £1 comments I have seen, which to be fair had he have not made the tongue in cheek comment a couple of years back, wouldn't have happened. I think it has made some people question his commitment.

What's constructive about this?
Quote: Travelling Wilbury "Mr Carter, what is next? It's not up to the coach but you, and the quality of players
you have signed are not super league material. It's all (if i could get six thousand supporters
I would be able to spend up to the salary cap). Defeat after defeat will not bring in the crowds.
In my opinion Mr Carter should put up or shut up before championship rugby is on the cards.
We all appreciate the work you have done but you are not moving us forward.'" '" ]

Indeed.
Let's be clear. They aren't investing, they are donating.

A genuine question do you know this to be true or just assuming.

What`s not constructive about it? Fair enough the "put up or shut up" is a bit far but in terms of the question, If not MC, then who should questions about the direction of our club be directed at?

Constructive criticism isn't about asking questions. It is feedback that offers actionable recommendations.
This is simply pointing out an issue. He's entitled to do it but there is nothing constructive about it.

Genuine answer, as has been said above, there is no investment return on giving money to a rugby club.
Sponsoring something gets you advertising revenue, but someone putting money into the club like a Davey is not getting a return, therefore by definition they are donating money not investing money.

Well then he is obviously not the right man for the job !!
How many other buisnesses would allow the chairman to run the business like this ?
It's the role of the chairman to bring these people in it is as simple as that
Why on earth should I know any such people,I'm not in a position where I need to know these type of people,I wouldn't expect to be put in a position of authority in a proffesional sports club if I didn't have the contacts who could bring on this type of investment.

You make a very good point here, PT. A very unliklihood in this day and age to attract a "businessman" to "invest" in Trinity because a profit is not very likley to happen at this point in time. It's more of a Bill Gates/Richard Branson type to whom money means nothing, and could provide a"windfall" without expecting anything in return. Sadly they are few and far between (if they exist at all) . As you say a donor rather than an investor.
