All these things are in place at the club to the best that they can under the RFL guidelines , they’ve just travelled to and from France on a chartered plane, airport, foreigners, opposition players, changing rooms so on and so on and believe it or not the players have lives away from the game which at times means maybe a family member or themselves doing some shopping or even filling up their car , maybe just maybe it could have been picked up in hundreds of places, just a thought.

I’ve just listened to the Carter interview. It seems one player has tested positive, but because we played Catalans only the day before the test, then we’ve fallen foul of the rules again. MC, says if we had played on the Friday as HKR do this week, then we wouldn’t have fallen foul of some rule, which now means most of the team must stand down. Also, he said match officials traveled on the same private plane as trinity, do those officials have to stand down also?. This season can’t end soon enough for me, god knows what the future holds for us and the game.

None of which is any different to other clubs, yet Wakefield continue to get new breakouts of infection!

If guidelines are now being strictly adhered to that’s great but (ahem) maybe they weren’t at one point which at the very least would allow the virus to linger amongst the players and around the training facilities.

A couple of hours ago the wife got a message from the track and trace system to say that she has been close to someone who has tested positive and she now has to self-isolate for 8 days but I don't , so I've sent her up to the spare bedroom with 8 bottles of water and a bucket, nailed the door shut and told her I'll see her next Friday

I watched the the Catalan game on Trinity and TV. I players were shaking hands and hugging opposition at the end of the game. I Surely think that an unnecessary risk. Also why is cas game off but ours still on? Why were cas allowed to play at home? I why are we playing stains twice in 6 days?

Nice little pop at the fans by Carter on the interview as well. Damn them for wanting the team to not be utter garbage. But if you want to delude yourself Michael that the teams performances over the last 12 months or more are all about things out of the clubs control you carry on believing that, gives you a nice excuse. You’re wrong but there you go. And as for the comment about team strength, the last two weeks have been pretty much as strong as we get. How’s that gone then? Yes things are tough, that is in no doubt. But it’s tough for everybody, maybe you should start looking within the club for some of blame as well as using every other excuse under the sun.
