I see nothing but some serious backlash for our boys

The season has just started and we were in the first game within final quarter. It could have been 2 points against what is a top 4 team.

What is with all the negativity with a section of trinity fans like the worlds just caved in. The positivity can’t have dried up already surely.

I just feel people are been far too negative. The telling point for us is between round 3-9. That will define our season.

Must admit I saw nothing against Catalans that made me think we'd get anything from an away trip to Wigan. The performance largely reminded me of what we've seen over the past 3/4 seasons. Little go forward, unforced errors, leaky edge defence, slow distribution from DH, no real game plan, slow defensive line speed, no pressure on the kicker.

It will take massive performance from all our pivots and forwards, in fact everyone. Truth be told beating Wigan away isn't going to be the difference between staying in SL or not, but it would be a very nice little bonus.

That last statement I hope is very far away from the teams and coaching teams mentality. Every point does matter and could be the difference between relegation, play off rugby and success or failure.

No I will get shot down but time but think this could be the worse team we had In S L Hope they prove me wrong but it was very worrying after Friday .

I remember far more teams with less skill and quality especially the seasons following financial trouble many years ago in SL. This team has far more ability.

Me too, but it still doesn't alter the reality of the situation, beat Wigan but lose to Leigh twice, pointless.

You won't get shot down by me. On boxing Day I say some very positive signs, I have watched all the games since then and I am getting a little disappointed about some players. Just hoping Catalan was a bit of a blip and every player steps up and produces their best.
I am sure after Huddersfield next week we will get a more reliable picture of the capability of the team and the quality of many of our players.
Wigan game will give us some clues how they respond, but our next home game should tell us the most.

Doesn`t make much sense though, 2 points is 2 points, beating Wigan or losing to Wigan is not in anyway linked to the Leigh fixtures.

Just trying to emphasise a loss to Wigan away won't be the difference between relegation or not.
