Think you are right and I am sure the realisation kicked when when Connor went off. It also affected Hull I thought as they looked far less organise and structured.

Yeah, I loved how they all ran straight to the fans.

We had enough field position and pressure to win the game but we just looked to lack the cutting edge or creativity.

Was so happy for Gaskill who at the moment seems to be getting the brunt of the fans wrath. Even today he looked a little lethargic until we scored the penultimate try at which point he totally changed it was someone had pressed his fast forward button. We got more of that version of Gaskill we have a good player on our hands, just frustrating we don’t always get that version of him.

The effort was huge and we defended very well. Connor going off assisted with that as he looked a real threat at times.

Main areas I’d like to see improvement at the moment are the push around the ball carrier, a few times we made good scoots/runs but the player lacked support and the quality of the delivery off the floor from the play the ball which was very inconsistent.

That’s for another day though. For now we need to enjoy the win as it’s been too long between drinks.

A real shot in the arm for the club however we need to back it up against Wire.

Hopefully a good few of the stay away fans will be tempted back after missing a win, particularly under such dramatic circumstances.

Absolutely superb win.Went through all the emotions in 85 minutes! Think big Dave's last spell turned the tide but it hardly seems fair singling out one player.

Corey Hall was awesome today and Batch outstanding after having to cover at centre after Lyn got injured after about 4 minutes.

Said Connor was the key to hulls fortunes , rudderless ship without him and certainly made the task much easier without him running the show . Still plenty of work in goal line attack to do but it just shows that guts and determination can get you results .We had plenty of time on hulls line in that second half and desperately need to come up with some defence splitting moves ,as hard work will only get you so far ,today it did ,but I’d rather not have to go to golden point again is possible. Hats off to the whole team on a cracking win and a much improved performance.

Totally agree and add murphy also. Really miffed we are loosing Batch. There are quite a few I would like to see go before him.

Who says we are losing him? He’s OOC soon but I’ve not heard he’s going elsewhere.

I have to agree. I haven't seen anything that would constitute congratulations. Bit sad if you ask me after such a magnificent back to the wall win.
