Think MCB was offered new & improved terms but admirably didn't want to be back up so took his chance elsewhere. Wouldn't be surprised if he lands in London for the season ahead.

It'd make sense all around imo. I think he lives over the Pennines now but he's originally from down South and they're about the only team I'd have thought that would have money to play with, plus he'd obviously offer a real cutting edge with his pace etc to their backline.

Long story short I'd be massively surprised if he doesn't get sorted this season.

How's it 'exactly', someone just posted that Toronto has let him go and does anyone know where he's going. Personally, I didn't know he'd been released by them and I'd certainly be interested to know if and when he gets another club. Aren't we able to talk about ex-players on here or something?

by all means talk about him but I fair bet he wouldn't want to come back and play second fiddle again

I never thought he would come back here or we'd need him back tbh- maybe if we had money to throw around but that's it because he'd still be waiting for someone to get injured as you say.

I just thought he was a good player for us when he was given a chance when Tom was injured and I don't know what went on at Toronto but this guy is SL class and he seemed a decent bloke as well when he was with us, hopefully he gets himself a team.

Wire have Mamo on their books haven't they that could plug any gaps if they have to have a reshuffle. But they'll probably go with Patton now and leave Ratchford at FB. They must be up near the Cap anyway I'd have thought, but who knows.

Me neither I’ve never understood this idea of bestowing sainthood on former players. It’s all rose tinted as well when in reality MCB is one of a number of decent wingers we’ve had over the years.

As far as I’m concerned when they are wearing the RWB I support them completely - when they leave I wish them all the best then with the odd exception they are gone. MCB is not one of those exceptions.
