Yes. We met with Sir Rodney last night and we had it confirmed that the application had been completed by the deadline of 4th April. Outline planning is now granted for the whole development at NM, which of course is in addition to the site having been removed from Green-belt.
There is a lot - and I mean a lot - of positive stuff going on in the background, but I have to ask for patience once more as it is a complex situation and the economic climate adds a few challenges.
I'm not entirely sure why the press release has not hit yet, but it will. After that, although we will be maintaining dialogue and encouraging the release of information it may well all go quiet again for a while.
We (reps for SWAG, RfN and ST) were very pleased with the work being done - both quality and quantity - and having Sir Rodneys reasurring presence is a real blessing.
Regretfully, due to the major balancing act currently ongoing, there is much we cannot divulge and some things that were alluded to but kept from us due to their commercially sensitive nature. This will no doubt frustrate many of you, but once we have agreed some wording with Sir Rodney then we will issue a little bit more detail.
