Hit the nail on the head there. Many Cas fans try to pick weaknesses in YCP/Langtree funding of Newmarket but looking at both projects objectively ours is clearly more realistic. The recent interest from Persimmon suggests that housing is still considered viable, will they be willing to pay more than the few millions that Ben Baileys was? The fact that they are considered as an alternative to Tescos suggest to me that Tescos are not willing to pay any more than what the land is valued at.

As for RW I don't think there is any more he can do or could do to deliver the GH project. The difference between the value of WR and the construction of GH is just too big of a gap to fill. Whats happened is that he has come out with so much bull regarding GH that it got to point of embarrassing, he had lost all credibility. I can't really see what Ferres can do to change the funding situation. At least we can expect him to more honest and not continue the one upmanship that RW has been involved in over the last few years. Interesting times ahead.

Think Steve Ferres will do a good job for Cas as he appeared to do for us and Bradford.Only trouble is he a jinx look what happened to us and now bradford hope he goes well at Cas.
