| I thought last week we were much quicker round the ruck and with ball in hand than last year....today we looked like last years team slow and very predictable...which suggests that with the i pitch being like a hard pitch we are a dry weather hard pitch team so hopefully come the spring n summer we will look alot better.
Funny how people see things different ...last week i was singing Smiths praises from the rooftops this week i thought he was very very poor...same with Ali last week brilliant this week at times a liability.
Its a bitter pill to swallow with Dobson off the pitch down to 12 men how we didnt win this game.We waited in defence clueless in attack, put no pressure on Hall at all who took over as their pivot both with ball and when he was kicking. Our licking game and 5th tackle options were pathetic.
Positives Cockayne,Collis,Aiton Raleigh and Wood for me.
With more compusure in final 20 metres and once the halves do what they get paid for i think we will be there or there abouts come September.
Still gutted though

| I heard a few fans on the way out saying we looked like a 'fair weather team'.
Not really a bad thing considering about 75% of the season will be played in fair weather.

| The person who excited me the most was Collis. He looked a very good centre.

| Quote dull nickname="dull nickname"frankies drop was the game changer i'm afraid but we are within touching distance of being very very good imo. More games will make a big difference so bring on bradford.'"
Agree hole heartedly ,I'm sure we would have gone on to win.Two mistakes, the Danny wash brook loose pass on the first tackle and the mix up with Tim smith and Peter fox on the goal line drop out,HKR scored off both.nothing between the 2 teams.HKR goal line defence was good.saw enough in Wakey today that they can improve and cause problems to most teams.well done ,chin up,move on.

I reckon he will cause some problems this year. On the other hand, Mellars looked poor. I don't think he's passed once this season, which is a shame as Cockayne looked capable of making ground every time he had the ball.

Strange cos your kit reminded me of one of ours! Tracey Lazenby, there's a blast from the past and another HKR link

| Thought we look like a good team in the making. Couple of instances where communication was missing, but that will come with time. In 6 months I'd expect to win games like that. We have fantastic foundations on what to build on. I would urge RA to do 2 things, get wood on for more game time, he looks very sharp. If he had come on when they were down to 12 men I think he would gave cut them open. I'd also say we need to work on kicking. Both to kick more length on penalties instead of getting 10/15 meters and in game out of hand to put teams under pressure. Happy with the way things are going

| Quote Slugger McBatt="Slugger McBatt"Happened in front of me, and unfortunately started by a Wakey fan, who cracked someone when Hull KR scored their third try. KR fans were angry by it, lots of shouting and finger pointing, and the Wakey fan decided to have another go.
To be fair to the KR fans, it didn't spread beyond the small group involved, and I thought those immediately involved showed some restraint and tried to involve the stewards first.
Don't know what provoked the Wakey fan, but as it was as KR went over, I presume it was having the nerve to celebrate.
Pretty unsavoury.'"
I also saw this and it was near towards where i was stood. HKR scored there 3rd try and and an idiot was goading the wakey fans then someone else ran towards the Wakey fansand ended up getting a good slap for his efforts. Stood near a few HKR fans and said that the wakey fans had done nothing wrong. A few HKR fans got kicked out and no wakey fans did as far as i saw

In fairness to our centres, the ball got to them on the tackle impact,so there was no option to pass to the wing men.I on the other hand thought that Mellors run the ball in well ,but that's my view and opinion from the east stand.too many unforced errors today and got punished.but Trin will still hurt a lot of sides this season.
