I believe that when Mr Glover buys the Club the money he pays over will go to pay creditors (in part) and that will include HMRC so that debt will be paid.

Although i was originally drawn by the proposed wealth of Parkin i am extremly happy that Andrew Glover and his consortium have won the battle because from what i have heard they have the best interests of the club as heart which is what i personally want.
I have the feeling the future of the club is now assured for a very long time and whether it is in SL or NL i don't care at the moment because all i am currently bothered about is that we have a club to support.'"
Just like to say how good a press release from the club looks without Ted Richardson's name as chairman.

i have had a strange feeling tonight. in the back of my mind i always knew someone woud come in (and tbh i thought it would be steve parkin), but when i read the news that the spirit had bought wakey, i felt relieved and happy, like i hadn't felt for a long time.
i have now celebrated this fact with a few bottles of bud. long live the sprit of wakey and i am sure that the loyal (and new, and stayaway) fabs will now get behind the club.
rollercoaster on the up.....

What land are you referring to ? Belle Vue does not belong to us so he couldn't have that. I believe now that Tillion are in receivership it now belongs to the Bank of Ireland who provided the mortgage and has 1st charge on it. I think we are paying rent to the receiver of Tillion to play there this season. |
