Well thats what i said in effect, if you cant afford to loose it then no matter how emotional it is youve got to sit back and think twice. I read somewhere that this was need within 4 weeks, why that sort of time frame ?

Do we know who we owe the cash to and why they want their money back by the end of the month?

Even though ownership would change hands, contracts of employment would remain, and so unless you want to see your £1,000 spent on redundancy/unfair or constructive dismissal, plus lawyer fees, I imagine most would remain. You can't just step in and "get rid of the deadwood", as they have employment rights.

| Im guessing that to take over the club as an individual the sum would be more than 500k. If you had that amount to spend (i refuse to use the word invest in this context) and you were inclined to spend it on Wakefield why do it now and pay a premium when there is a chance within the next 24 months of picking the club up in NL1 with a realistic proposition of a new stadium on the way and the opportunity to rebuild the club without the artificial and arbitrary pressures brought about by a phoney licencing process.

Yes but some of it resides on the BOD, does the statement mean JK will resign as coach as well? That would be an added bonus.
With regards those in other jobs, I agree you couldn't just get rid of them, but I doubt they know what an annual appraisal is, proper structures in place would measure performance against targets and allow for dismissal of those not producing the necessary level of performance

Thats correct, Tupe rights are invoked along with all liabilities there in (any historic claims, any liabilities under redundancy, terms of previous service, any ongoing litigation, and a lot more)

I'm not sure that there are many you would want rid of (Mopsy apart) most do a good job, the likes of Davide Longo, Jimme Elston, Sarah Robinson, the girls in the shop, Francis Stephenson, Steve Dutton etc..
there may be family mambers who don't want to stay on afterwards but if they did then you have to take into account their performance in any given role, they may be (like it or not) the best person for the job.

Could we then just sell off the playing squad to recoup our cash.
Sorry, I'll amend... can we just sell off the playing squad to recoup about 8% of our cash ?
