No, I offer them free will. What they do or not do is their choice. It is still a free country isn't it? Oh! hang on a minute.

99.9% says I won't. Look, if you want to crap your pants everytime you meet someone without a mask then fine, but don't ascribe your fear of dying to me.

How about the clothes on your back or, the car on your drive or taxi/bus that you take, if you dont have a car ?
What have you bought from PC World - was it too made in England.
And what about the rest of the UK population - the pattern of the nations buying habits suggests that , like on this thread, you are in a very, very small minority - Have you seen the balance of trade figures for the last 30/40 years ? - there was a time when the UK tried to have a positive BoT but, that is long, long gone. Again, laregely abandoned under the Thatcher regime.
Sadly in the commercial world, many/most large companies site themselves in the most cost effective base to run their business - we best steer clear of Brexit

He hasn't got any money. He's invested it all in winding Miro up and taking over the world.

90% of my posts are spent putting my critics in their place. But for yours and their nit picking this would be page 20.

We covered it in about 3 posts.
While restrictions in place we work out a way to generate money showing games online. Just like other retailers are doing. I'll bet Amazon are loving Covid.
We also work with the authorities to gradually get people back in the stadium. While turning away those that won't adhere to the rules we put in place.
By the way it's Bill Gates birthday today.'"

Also for your information secondary schools in Sweden remained open up until the age of 16.
I look forward to viewing the overall mortality in Sweden at the end of the year compared to the last five years to see if they got it right.

Quote: coco the fullback "You appear to be claiming, despite all evidence to contrary, that lockdowns are not necessary and/or are ineffective. The burden of proof lies with the person making the claim.
You could start by listing all the countries that didn't use a lockdown and their covid data. Which countries do you feel achieved results with limited intervention.
Are you really claiming that cases/ deaths would have been the same in the UK without the lockdown?
In Sweden, secondary schools were closed, sport fixtures cancelled and gatherings of more than 50 people banned. Swedes were asked to stay at home if they are over 70 or feeling unwell. Social distancing was requested in public places.people were told to avoid unnecessary international travel and to limit car journeys within the country to two hours.

Just a couple of points to end this game of online tennis to bed, here's a conclusion in a paper on the Lancet
[i
These findings suggest that more restrictive public health practices may indeed be associated with less transmission and better outcomes. However, in our analysis, full lockdowns and wide-spread COVID-19 testing were not associated with reductions in the number of critical cases or overall mortality.[/i
