To those who have said Sieljka isn't coming. Is that because he has rejected us? Or that he was never coming in the first place and it was a rumour and nothing more?

Trinity are up to the prescribed 5 non-federation players now with Collis, Tautai, Anderson, Ryan and now Godinet so unless the RFL go ahead with their counterproductive plan to increase the limit then any further signings will not be new to SL.

If, and it's a big if, we do indeed sign Siejka or any other half back, would this be cover for the backs as it could then free up Paul Sykes to cover the centres, full back etc?

We've lost the likely players in Cowling and Kay who would've been challenging the backs so I think Agar will look to bring in one or two more. Keinhorst has been rumoured for a number of months now.

Got a feeling that it's to do with the fear that Sykes may break down with injury again rather than a positional issue - I reckon he is still first choice S/O.

I know Gary Lord who was assistant coach at Hunslet, he was dual reg'd there a lot last year and he really rates him

I'm fairly sure he was a little out of his depth at Leeds - considering he was providing cover for Watkins and Moon (and the Southstanders didn't rate him in comparison, naturally)
