It's not like they won't know us.

The point of the friendly is to run our plays and see how we are progressing in our training.

Would be nice though to take a relatively strong squad, but resting a couple of known faces.

Maybe give Bain a go at 13, to see how he goes there, and try out Russell and Trueman in the halves.

Whoever plays alegend won’t be happy unless we put 50 on em.

Always wondered whether the coaches have a word with each other to ask how senior they're going. Seems most clubs have a rhythm to their friendlies; one mixed side (I assume Leeds), one junior/possibles side (Dewsbury), one starting 17 (Cas). Never liked turning up on Boxing Day and Leeds had named their academy. Even worse when they beat us.

I think it’s usually a mixed bag on Boxing Day from both teams and I’m fine with that.

Probably start out reasonably strong for 30 and then see plenty of interchanges.

The one thing I’m hoping to see on Boxing Day and pre season is for us to re-affirm the defensive structure and intent.

I know it was championship last season but I was impressed by how structured, aggressive and fit the defence was almost all season. Something I’d not seen at trinity for quite some time.

I don’t think the physicality in the middle is too much different from Championship but the edges are bigger and better drilled so I’m sure we will be prepared.

Reading the TJ interview he received his pre season plan end of last season. That shows exactly how efficient we have become behind the scenes.

Not interested in watching friendlies at all Just a way to get teams match fit for the S L season .Just hope we do not play any body who is not 100% free from injury. Over the Chester years he played many a player who was not fit in friendlies and turned a few week out into months .Tupo and Rendell spring to mind My gunpowder is dry now till the start of the season .Got to admit can not wait for start of season , missing the rugby So every body have a great Xmas and a happy New year .And can not wait to get shot down next season

To your other point though. Our back room are very professional and I can’t see risks been taken that would end up in injury. That said some injuries you just can’t predict or prevent. With how fit the players were last season I’m very excited to see what shape the players start the season in.

I used to like the dark chocolate bounty. If I remember properly they were in a dark red/brown wrapper.

Dark chocolate is food of the devil.

Only because it doesn't have as much sugar in it. It's the same ingredients just proportion of cocoa and milk and sugar.

Dark chocolate is better if you add a flavour.

I learned how to make it in York. Great fun but dark chocolate better with citrus type flavour for me.

She preferred a turnip for its purity.
