JM and MC have got us some thing that seemed impossible years ago ,Glover promised new ground, but just left us 2 plus million pound in det and it looked as though we were folding. MC ,with help from the board wiped that out and JM got the ground done .getting passed York court ,covid ,and a X chairman who took the 106 agrement out ,and some one called Box who was in charge of Wakefield Council.These fans who are slating M C and J M should be thankful we have had a board like that ,or the club would have gone years ago. The problem as been that on the park ,the Board as been given very bad advice about who to sign , over the last 4 years. but I think the worse advice they got was from the players last year when they said they were not been trained right. If W Poaching was sti!l here do not think we would have lost our first 15 matches

I’ve watched the team at Wembley… and finish 12th in the second division…I’ve seen Fox, Topliss, Gerard, Lewis, Price and Ella in the RWB …I’ve seen stands demolished and ownership changed… charlatans and heroes amongst them…I’ve felt elation and despair… I’ve sponsored and volunteered… one thing I’ve never done is…’plotted’… maybe I should try it???

With this squad? Without a doubt. Applegarth is out of his depth, but I don't think Poching would get anymore from this shower. He had a much better roster of players and if it wasn't for a player revolt we would've gone down last year.

We were dreadful last season with a much better squad. But that seems to have been forgotten.

He may have saved us with clearing the debt we had, back in 2013, but I do believe, and would happily meet him face to face, and be shown, to prove me wrong, as I feel that the £2m, is gross grossly over stated. Only, if directors loans were added to that would it, I feel, come anywhere near £2m.

Only 4 months before he took over, I saw the sane set of accounts, and there was NOT even half that.

Having said that about directors loans, Glover did not call his in.

People have also very conveniently forgotten, that he was on the previous BOD, for about 18-24 months prior to taking over, and was party with all those decisions that got us into the mess then, such as discounted and free ticketing, oursourcing catering and failing to bill tenancy to a football club, for use of the facilities.

I'll not mention a couple of signings, which seem very similar to ones this year. He may not have been the director then, but all contracts for players and even staff, had to be agreed by the board back then.

I think if it was confirmed this second, I feel that it is too late to save us for this season, realistically.

In the past, I as well have others may have said we need a prop a d a half back. Sadly the rot as set in too deep now, a total clearout of dead wood across the squad is needed, and some of this deadwood is contracted for a further year.

In my opinion you are so wide of them mark yourself in this assessment.

A better preparation and level of Coaching experience may well have seen us beat a Catalan team missing it’s whole spine and playing youngsters on the opening day

Better Coaching might have seen the difference between us losing by a point at Salford, turn an 8 point loss at home to Huddersfield around and overcome a terrible Cas side at Weldon Rd (16-4).

These were all winnable matches where an experienced Coach like Willie Poching would have made a huge difference, not to mention that had we beaten Catalan we wouldn’t have played the Salford, the Giants and Cas with the huge monkey on our backs of having not won a game.

I think a director of rugby is a must if and when the takeover goes through.

Someone who understands rugby league and someone who is experienced in order to steer the club into a new direction be that recruitment, contracts, agents etc.
