| Quote: FOREVERTRIN "There was a period when one of the cabins on the west terrace was kitted out with tables and seating and used as extra viewing space.Entry was by steps at the back and a small bar was provided. It was a great spot to view the match through the windows on cold days, but,on the down side, most of the atmosphere from the terracing was lost. Then one day we were denied access by the stewards and told it had been handed to over to the ex players association, no explanation, nothing!'"
The press use them now.

I’ll stand corrected if I’m wrong, I’ve had a quick look to find the article which shows the capacity being reduced, but not found it yet, I’m surprised we had a gate of 7000 this season, anyway don’t let the council find out.

However, the stadium revamp, is something which I haven't, and won't. Not many on here will know all the ins and outs, and all the legalities. There are often third parties involved, which can sometimes put a spanner in the works.
I'm older than a lot of our fans, but not old enough to remember glory days, both on and off the pitch, including many false dawns regarding new stadiums etc.
I think on this front, it's nervous times ahead for the club, bit at the same time.
I'm looking forward to seeing the first bricks being laid, and walking in there for the first time'"
Agree and as I have said previously, I cant understand why some fans are moaning.
We are getting a new East Stand which is necessary
And an upgraded North Stand/
It really does boil my pi*s on here with some people.

| Quote: Pat Bateman "Headingley away end is no better and offers no cover, similar to Cas, yet I’d go there in a heart beat no matter what the weather as it’s us our close rivals. Obviously the west Terrace needs upgrading, but I think the main thing is updating the facilities of our own support before concentrating on away fans. The one thing that sticks out what Headingley do better in the away end is the easier access to food and drink at the side.'" ]
I have started taking my kids to the games
If it were raining I wouldn’t go to headingly due to the lack of cover
I imagine many away fans would feel the same about the western terrace at Wakey
I totally get that mc and Jm are doing there best and I will back what ever they do
It’s a shame the north stand plans have changed but any improvement is very welcome
I just hope they can find away to do something with the west terrace

Flats have to stay until we have millions spare to build something others standard of East Stand.
I'm in there a lot. Earns money and is a good view.'"
I'm not sure that the commentary team sit where the main camera is at all grounds. Many watch from other parts of the ground whilst receiving a live feed from the cameras on their monitors.
Looking at the plans, it appears that at BV the cameras will be on the west terrace but the media boxes (area) will be in the new East stand, So they will have a much better experience.

Would have thought that was impossible to be honest. Where could you put them?
Must admit it's the first time I've accused the club for a long time of overstating

Which one? Round 17 or 23?
There may be some cross purposes going on here. I think round 17 was the highest of the season with promos for kids as the last game for the old east stand.

| FWIW I think we’ve witnessed a storm in a teacup with people getting their knickers in a twist over nothing really in the big scheme of things , did anyone really think they’d leave it looking like a pigsty.Fans yet again rounding on our leader with anything they can find and if not make it up . I’m of the opinion that let the contractor and club get on with their job and us get on with supporting the team , then there won’t be all this foaming at the mouth over Carter being the anti christ ,who’s sole purpose is the dismantling of our club. Sometime I have to give my head a shake I really do

I thought the ground held 11k (Glover era we were near that) but only 7.6k were allowed in now because of health and safety (crush barriers etc). Wigan at home before the demolition we announced over 7k.

| The capacity has been around 7200 since 2016/2017 when the North Stand capacity was cut. It's now about 4900 with the east seats and paddock gone.

It might have done in his mind and his inflated figures, but it never did.
That 7k figure might be right but it didn't look it. No idea, but what I know for sure is the North stand capacity is now at 1500, and that is dire. You certainly wouldn't get 7k in now.

| Another question maybe worth asking while you have the chance is with the current necessary cutbacks to phase 1 of the redevelopment will phase 2 still go ahead as planned (rollin shack) or will that be potentially scaled back/delayed
