We could have done with more composure when Hull went a man down as as we needed the win because we now have three very tough fixtures. Dragons & Sts away then The Rhino’s, If we go 0 from 4 it might knock the teams confidence making the first win harder to get

That was my thoughts exactly. Really disappointed we lost that. We finally woke up at about 55 minutes and when Connor got sent off I genuinely thought we would win. We never looked like scoring in the first half (Apart from break away try) despite the amount of possession we had on Hull’s line which was very disappointing. Thought our forwards did well, with Bachelor being brilliant in attack and defence. I genuinely thought the majority of the team played well but just lacked composure at vital times. In the first half we never seemed to want to build pressure, just squandered possession. It’s not going to get any easier as you say playing the next 3.

Could have -should have -would have if they had showed more composure ,one that definitely got away from us today .Hopefully we will learn from these ,at times school boy errors and learn to build pressure without letting the opposition off the hook far too easy for my liking .20+ mins with 12 men should have been enough for us to kill the game off ,but we lacked that killer instinct when needed .

Positives corey hall and tommy where good and thought fifita went well but ultimately lost to a poor weakend hull side.

Dont understand why walker didnt play, played welll last season and with hall been best pre season but dont see training.

Frustrated more than anything today hull where poor and felt wewon the forward battle and worried about how long its gonna take to get a win with the games we have coming up.

Yep...sums it up for me but don't forget we were down to 12 as well when Gaskell went off as we had used up all our interchanges

Same old Wakefield penalties given away when defending on Hulls line.Switching off for 15mins at beginning of second half .Panic rugby when Hull down to 12 men .We have got to find away to get Fifita and Tanginoa on the field more together .Plus side Battye ,Hall and Batch with good back up from others

How often do we come away from a game making the same old comment s.
We never never rectify the same old mistakes.
Full leader needed on the pitch, someone who can grab the game, lead by example and be given that role.

We've been saying about building pressure for seasons. I thought we did well today defensively but ultimately it was the errors and execution in the Hull twenty that meant the game was lost. Miller's attacking kicks weren't up to much today either. Was surprised Gaskell wasn't the one doing the majority of the in-play kicking. We've got one of the best aerial threats in the league in Toma nd we never want to actually give him a decent chance of attacking one.

Good dig from the forwards today as my worry was we'd get bullied down the middle. Corey Hall will become a quality player for us. Hooker still a bit of a conundrum. Overall a decent performance but a shame we didn't make the scoreline reflect our territorial advantage.

Wasted way too many chances when we were in an attacking position and panicked too much after the red card.

Positives: Hall played really well, as did Batch. Dave a handful as always.
Key was very active in the second half.
We seemed very fit too, so really big hits in the last quarter.

Negatives: Not taking the 2 on at least 4 occasions. Every single top team do that.
Really missed Lino.
Poor metres gained from penalties.

Should add, Hull defended very well.

Should also add, we are becoming too much like football. I have never seen so many players get cramp at the same time in my life. That needs cleaning up in our game.

Given the conditions I am surprised both teams declined the two on a number of occasions. On the one hand it showed confidence but those four kickable penalties could've turned the match into a win
