Agree that all those legendary names ie Fox, Turner, Poynton et al would be more than suitable comtenders, but one name that would prove worthy of adorning the new stand would be................................Johnny Thompson!!. Not many have devoted more time and energy to our great team than JT.

I thought it was all standing but I suppose it could be both, kind of take the atmosphere away though, which apart from the odd kn*bhead beer slinger is pretty good.. |

I’m interested to see what the plan is for it. 3500 is a bloody big stand when you consider the away end at St. Helens is only 400 more

that's a good link providing all the future plans for developement, shows that the walkway concourse upwards to the back on the north stand is to be done leaving the bottom section to be maintained, right side of the north stand to be lowered to gate level, at the back of the north stand a large plato for food and drink units.

Clearly a lot of time and effort has gone into this submission, the new East stand looks very impressive and appears to have everything required to take us forward as a club. Let’s hope it comes off!!

Yes, there’s a hell of a lot of reading there, a lot of it quite detailed re the East Stand layouts. Also, 161 parking spaces, and 40 cycles,  do people still cycle to BV on game day,
I don’t have much idea about planning, but I never knew how much details had to be provided.
There is mention of the land sub surface “Oak rock” I think it’s called, pit waste? No mention of Arsenic waste. |
