Williams apart for me we have the better squad out on thur ,it’s not about the spend in my opinion that sets us apart its that deep rooted pride and passion that Wigan have instilled in their players over the years ,something we are woefully lacking at this moment in time. Until such time wakefield can Instil that mentality in the players and club any player that comes in no matter how expensive will soon drop into the easy way of life here at belle vue.
Going back to thur I’m expecting a hard fought wakey win but we need to want it more than Wigan for that to happen ,the players should be fit and raring to go ,just need Chester and co to put some fire in their bellies and the two points are ours and the dreaded drop will be a distant memory .

Can’t see a Wakey win coming anytime soon but I’ll be happy fo be proved wrong. Still debating whether to go tomorrow and I normally wouldn’t give it a second thought. Hope the players can motivate themselves to give a gutsy performance and that they have been given a few ideas in his to defend. Ashurst and Arona are certainly being missed.

I can't see Wigan rolling over - injuries or not, and form or not, they always seem to have squad players ready to step up and at least give 100% effort; which is more than some of our first team players seem capable of at the moment.

In other circumstances, this would be a game to target - in these circumstances, it will be one to watch on the telly, vaguely hopeful that it's worth keeping on past half time.

Wigan win seems inevitable.
We have the players of sufficient quality to give them a game but that requires some attacking ideas, structured defence and most of all heart but we're coming up short in all those areas.
Only chance we may have is if we put Hampshire where he should be, in the halves, Jowitt to FB and Pauli at prop (he may have to be now that Kopczak has dropped out - god help us in the pack!)
