| Superb effort from the boys this afternoon and in hindsight, we should have gone for touch instead of going for goal and then set up a drop goal (or try).
Proud of the boys and this shows that we can compete with the best.
Saints and Wire will be battling for the LLS and we were within a whisker today.
Great effort

| I don't think they were that much better than us today - more clinical perhaps but we were more like what we've come to expect especially in the first half with 2 quality Johnstone tries. Should have made more of the 3 dropouts and sets on their line before we eventually scored second half then Broughy missed with the penalty on half way and they sneaked it at the end. Overall, much better than last week, room for more improvement, hopefully a win against Catalans a week on Thursday and push on from there. Miller had a good game and thought Reece Lyne deserves a mention too. All our forwards matched theirs, on another day we'd have just got the win.

| I don't think the season is back on track just yet, the next 4 games are going to show where we're going this season. They're all games we should be winning if we stand any chance of making the top 5

| After last weeks drubbing I was feeling very nervous for today. Fantastic performance from all the team and i'm feeling almost as happy as I would with the win.
Great effort from all the team but Miller & Brough in particular played a blinder

| Much better effort but we needed to turn more of the pressure we had into points. Saints were there for the taking but we just lacked the killer instinct at crucial times whilst they were more clinical, their goalkicking apart. Plenty of positives though and play like that against Catalan (and if Brough can keep his trap shut) then we’ll get tge two points.

| We’ve Got to try and stop these penalties late in the tackle count , not saying that they are all penalties, but don’t give the refs any thoughts, also coughing up the ball with silly knock ons in our own half . We and enough sets in front of their sticks to win the game, but a big improvement, made saints work hard for their win, onwards and upwards.

| At 18 all, I just knew Saints were going to pinch it. Even if Brough had have kicked that last penalty, I think we'd have still lost by 2 or 4 points. A lesser team would have caved in way before Saints, but they soaked it all up and played until the last minute.
Roby is an absolute machine. If there was ever a player to personify 'Man of Steel', it's him.
We'll play worse and win.

| Massive improvement today, well done lads. Saint are a class outfit and we went toe for toe today. Tom needs to work on his positioning, Danny needs to keep his gob shut and cut out the daft pens and we will be a decent side ourselves! Up the Trin!

I have bought the opposite and we could win it but the effort from everyone eventually took it's too but Roby always gets them on the front foot and as know they are so hard to stop. Well done to everyone and I'm feeling much more positive then last week. Hope Hubys ok but it looked bad

careful, you're getting in to "must win" territory with that rhetoric
and only 2 games in

| Losing Huby was a great loss for us. I thought he was playing one of his best games for us up to half time.
Saints were much more slick and speedy in attack at the play the ball, and making more ground than us at each tackle, Although they were playing an off side game throughout the whole 80mins. The down side of our game was all the time that we were camped inside their 20metres following Broughies 40/20 with nothing to show for it. For about 5mins we looked as though we hadn't a clue what to do next and players were just stood still when they received the ball. Having said that we did recover well, and were unlucky to lose.
Unfortunately, I think we won't quite reach the level of success this season as we have for the last two.

| Roby was a big thorn in our side today. Very speedy from the acting half back position. This guy gets better as he gets older.

| Thought it was a good game and we matched them well.
The only difference was that Saints were more clinical inside our 20, wheras we struggled with the plays despite the repeat sets.
I do think we will win more than we lose if we play like that.
Well done to the players for the vast improvement on last weeks showing.

| Is there a case for moving Hampshire to 9. He has got a good side step and fast off the mark These seem wasted at full back. Roby tore us apart with his movement off the mark, and we seemed short of ideas at play the ball. Jowitt at full back might go some way to helping edge defence [Not having a go at Hampshire] which is very bad and some thing that would not be happening if John Kear was in still in the background
