I fully support Wakefield Trinity..  .  the council are an absolute disgrace and they should ensure a Community Stadium is built.
I don't live in the Wakefield District but if there is a standardised complaint template letter that can be sent to the councillors and local MPs I will be happy to email it to them direct. The letter could also be put on other social media sites which have substantial followers.
There is £1500 in the Trinity easyfundraising account which can be thrown against the legal fees although substantially more finance will be required to take the council to the high court so other funding steams need to be built...

Just a hypothetical thought here.
Should BV not happen and we end up moving out of the city, lets say Dewsbury.
As we won't fall under WMDC, as a bit of karma, the good work we do in the community, such as visit schools, Should they boycott those in the Wakefield area and go round Kirklees instead.
I know it's punishing our community, such as schools etc, but they are getting these services, when there's a lot in the city that obviously don't want us. At the end of the day were supplying a lot to a lot of people who voted these muppets in, in the first place.

The council will be the ones ultimately responsible for that. MC had NO choice than to do what he did today. 14 years this has rumbled on for with lies and deception at every turn.
MC has brought the club back from the brink to a club challenging for a top four position in SL.
The rebranding, decent merchandise, coaching team, players on the field to be proud of and a community setup in the running for numerous awards.
Whatever happens MC can only be applauded for his efforts over the last few years and the councils efforts to smear him are shameful.
We need a public meeting so we can ALL be involved in fighting this battle. |
