It is "Fifita" not "Fafita"
If you don't know the difference between "there", "their" and "they're" I might get annoyed.

I see Leeds have teamed up with Superdry to produce branded merchandise. Whilst acknowledging Trinity's support falls way short of Leeds it would be nice to see the club look into something like this. Some of the stuff we have in the shop is awful quality wise which certainly puts me off buying the products, I guess there are more out there too.
I think something like the images show in link would really go down well with the re-brand back to Trinity. ISC produce both kits so clearly they are OK with it.

| Wow, incredibly expensive though. £75 for a shirt and £55 for a pair of joggers. How many would be prepared to pay that?

People pay £25 for something I wouldn't pay £5 for. You have different types of supporters from the hero's who'll buy any old e for a relatively high sum to those who would be prepared to pay that more for quality gear. Currently we're missing out a consumer base by not catering for them.

I did float this idea several years ago; a young lad from Stanley started a label called 'Own Character' that all the kids were mad for - I said at the time that that a Trinity line would go down well with the younger, more fashion conscious supporter, and would be a good link with a local business.

You're spot on and it's easy....
Create your own line called for example "Treize BV".
Buy a load of good quality T Shirts, Hoodies and Sweatshirts off e-bay.
Get a bunch of art students at Wakefield College to come up with six designs (first wins a £100, the rest get a couple of free tickets). Get them screen printed, it really is cheap.
Give a few away at the College so they get seen around town.
Push it at matches and on the Web and any other outlet.
Sell them in the shop for £10-£20 a piece. If they are good and catch on then bingo easy money.
It won't make the club flush but it is an incredibly easy way to make money and to adverstisethe club with little risk. If the worst happens they make great give away's and I'm sure they would sell at cost if needs be. It's called making money the easy way just requires someone at the club to make it a side project but DON'T over order, you can always go back for more. If I'd have known what a farce the new ground was going to become when we started SWAG then I'd have pushed SWAG to be more of a fund raiser to rebuild BV. When I think of the hours of hard work wasted by truly talented people (yep even me) that could have gone into improving what we already had and now don't I get truly angry. I can accept that N/M won't happen etc etc but it's the waste of our time and effort I really despise. We are all ten years older now and in my case tired and I ain't done half as much as some...anyway rant over.

Don't know about a lot better but that subjective, their range is small compared to Superdry but they're doing a good job establishing themselves in a notoriously hard market place.
Their place is a few hundred meters down the main road from where I live. The prices for the most are great at around £20 for Hoodies and what more they actually have proper sizing compared to Superdry. I like a lot of Superdry stuff but if you've got a chest bigger than 44 inch you're screwed.
Personally i don't wear RL tops to games, even though I buy them. So to have a range of more designer gear linked to our Club I'd be all up for. Like Vasty says, on ebay you can get quality cheap hoodies and T-shirts from companies like Fruit of the Loom and Gilden, that also other companies use for their tops. Get some designs knocked up and printed on and I think they'd do well.

| I'm much more inclined to buy clothing such as polo shirts and jumpers as the fleur-de-lyse logo looks very classy. These wouldn't just be worn on match days, but as part of my everyday wardrobe. I hope the stock list and quality live up to my hopes

Agree. I'll definitely be buying more T-Shirts and Hoodies with the new badge on. They'll look so much more classy than the cartoon like Wildcats logo we had before.

| Quote: vastman "As a Graphic Designer it's always been my belief that where sport is cincerned especially RL bold block primary colours work best - hate kits with pintripes and fades, just awfull. Ditto the badge which is defacto your logo. A good logo is simple and the best can be re-produced by an average 8 year old with a pencil - the VW badge, Apple and the Triumph motorcycle logo, very simple hugely recogniseable.
Design is hugely subjective IMO and ahough the new badge is not a design classic in my eyes it is timeless, uncluttered and the more it's used the more memorable it will become and it will look right on almost anything, basic good design.'"

73558_1651394349.jpeg What would a Cockney know about rugby league?:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_73558.jpeg |

| The best of bit merch I see around at games are the 1979 David Topliss shirts that I think dreadnought heritage website were selling. Maybe it was a charity thing a while ago? They are class.
Club should looking to replicate these. Just spent £40 on a GB shirt from Ellis Rugby which is more than I spent on myself in the club shop in the last two years though I did spend loads on kids stuff. People are happy to spend out for good quality clobber that they will wear on non-matchdays but when the Jekyll sportswear down the market is better quality then the tat in the Trinity shop then I'll not bother. Fully appreciate that the club had their hands tied with the Macron deal and it has been difficult to move on until that was sorted. Another great move forward I hope with the new range.

| I've got to say, this steady stream of decent looking clothes in the buildup is really tempting me. The polo shirts and hoodies look good and the new embroidered patch is spot on
