| Good timing by the RL about Belle Vue not being up to standard.RL hedging their bets in case Whinos lose million pound game as they will then relegate Trinity due to state of ground and reinstate Whinos to Super League.

There was a precedent set for keeping someone in SL due to them having a "nice ground", also for iconic ground.
We dont qualify for either of these

| Why do people think Dewsbury is the answer. The ground holds a maximum of 3500 not exactly acceptable. We could invest to improve the ground but why would we do this because it would not be of benefit to us in the long term, the money if we are would be better spent at Belle Vue.
I would also remind MC of what his good friend the Doctor said "that the worse thing they did was to move away from the Willows" because it destroyed the attendance due to the fact that those that were used to walking to the ground were lost probably never to return.

| This could be a really bad situation as our budget will be based on a certain level of crowd which will no doubt be above the capacity of Dewsburys ground and I suspect we would lose corporate and food and drink revenue as well

| Capacity is about 5.5k IIRC
Not ideal but not horrendous, cant be a long term solution though.

| We may not own it but we generate income from it and you can believe what you like but money will need to be spent at Dewsbury to bring it up to the standard for SL. We cannot play at a ground with only a capacity of 3500 (according to the Dewsbury site) and any income will need to be shared due to the increased running costs of having two clubs operating from one ground.
I presume the academy will also need to play out of Dewsbury and should a reserves become mandatory them as well.

Big enough for the pathetic Wakefield public.

| Is this the time for an organised mass picket outside Wakefield town hall naming and shaming a certain council leader, It's time that dictator was brought to task. This is my sixtieth year supporting this great team of ours and I'm not sure that I could suffer the shame of playing at a rugby league ground that is not even in the Wakefield Met District. A mass picket had an effect the last time that it was tried: maybe it would be now. 80,000 citizens in this city have been shafted by that clown Box and his lackies.

It was 3500 before they built the terrace behind the sticks, easily got to be at least 5k.

Isn't it just and why now, it's the same it's been the last few seasons. It's all just so disheartening. We're having a season that at the start of this year we could have only dreamed of. We've still got a great chance of being in a CC final, yet here we are wondering and worrying where we'll be playing next year, when everyone though we were sorted for the next few years.
If we move from Belle Vue, that's that, no coming back, end of. Then a proposed move to Dewsbury lol, I can only see one thing come of that and it isn't positive. Less spectators, no corporate coin, or food and drink etc. Anyway who's gonna pay for the upgrades to Dewsbury especially if it's temporary and if there's money for that why can't we do the necessary to BV, ateotd we don't own either. What a cluster****.

| What choice does MC have? Belle Vue is unfit for purpose we can't wait forever for the community trust/council/York Court. The Newmarket situation is nothing short of a disgrace the state of Belle Vue is a disgrace to be honest Dewsbury is becoming more appealing

| To just walk away from B.V is just ridiculous, Trinity are the sitting tenants.
Maybe it's M.C. playing poker again, let's hope he's got a good hand.

As long as it meets all safety requirements by what yardstick is it 'not fit for purpose' for the RFL? What doesn't it do that is required? And what's changed between the year and next? It's bollllockx. So it's a dump, and?
