I've just got back from a holiday in Australia and whilst there spoke to a couple of rugby league supporters about us signing David Fifita and they both said that they thought he would go well in England and is a decent signing and once he's up to speed would probably go well.

No guarantees I know but it's just another opinion to counter yours.

Fifita hasnt had a look in as Cronullas forwards have been in great form as the whole team has too. He had an infected knee this year which has obviously been a set back for him.
The main reason he has come over is to help his older brother who seems to be suffering from depression from injuries. He did the same with Andrew after a whole load of pressure was mounted on his shoulders - I reapect that.

On Friday yes he may have not had a great game, but he was the most effective out of the others and the others also made the same or more mistakes than him and I personally saw enough from him to see once he is settled that he'll become good for us even if he is only here for the rest of the season. If your thinking that hes only here on other business I saw a whole load of effort from him which would say otherwise - he wasnt lazy in attack or defence give the bloke a chance.....

That's exactly how I saw it....give the guy chance to find his feet and I think he will go well for us.

What's the alternative Yates or Walker?

Has he done a Ferres or Carney to you missus because you only seem to have negative things to say about the guy.

Lol at the clowns writing him off after one game...said he could be devastating for us once he settled in...it was obvious last week what he could bring to us...to anyone with a functioning pair of eyes!

The guys a beast, simple as that. Needs to watch his enthusiasm when he's on a high though.

What a performance it's been from Fifita - finally he looks like his brother. A tackle bust machine, strong runner, offload king. If he tidies up the penalties and tackle technique you lot could have made a top signing there.

I think Vastman was right....he could well be the one!

Some of the comments about him after ONE game were just plain juvenile and bloody stupid.
