I think it As become a case of "I will show them all" by quitting Beele Vue and Wakefield. I fear the outcome will be that we end up with nothing and are sharing the ground at Dewsbury. The problem is I doubt many will follow him especially if we have a season like this one. He cannot ask if the public of Wakefield want a team because he will of ensured that they don't have one.
I wait with interest to read his reasons why he feels the offer is not acceptable that is of course if he chooses to cover this in his reply.

Regarding ,The Offer,I take it you refer to the one from YC to BOI Scarlet.Take it from me that it's embarassing low.As someone in the know told me on Friday,if some one offered £10 for your house would you sell it?....I suppose it says it all.

It's all hearsay at the moment. Put the figures into the public domain and let everyone make their own conclusion. If it's such a ridiculous offer then it's hardly going to be commercially sensitive.

Look at it from Mr Carter's perspective. If YC buy Belle Vue from BOI with Mackie's track record of dodgy deals would you feel happy if you were in charge of Wakefield Trinity. It wouldn't be long before Box facilitated planning permission for housing on Belle Vue site to keep his mate at YC happy.

For now, and without wishing to blow smoke, I would suggest you look at Vastmans comments. Despite me not having spoken to him for several weeks he has just about got this situation nailed.
The 'offer' was agreed as confidential. I'm not sure who's telling who outside of the club and the Trust, but it won't be me.
The purpose of the Trust is to oversee the development of a Community Stadium for the long term benefit of Wakefield. Whatever the club decide in the interim is their own business decision, albeit they have kept us fully abreast of the situation.
That there have been high level negotiations which, theoretically could be positive is not in dispute, but it is generally believed that the any press release would be premature at this time.
I am sorry that I cannot say more at this time, and I look forward to Micheals comments tomorrow, but I'm sure most of you will appreciate that this is at a very delicate position and I do not wish to add to any issues we already have. As I say, there will be more later this week.

If the offer is from YCP to BoI why are Wakefield Trinity The Supporters Trust or The stadium Trust bound by some unenforceable confidentiality clause.

If the Stadium Trust isn't involved in the offer why is Sir Rodney Walker commenting and why is his stance the opposite of The Chairmans.

Is it possible that YCP are chancing their arm with a low offer or that their offer is a lowball opener as part of a protracted negotiation. If so then it's clever and not derisory as the lower they can get the purchase price then the lower the commercial rent is likely to be.

I believe the Club may be making a statement tomorrow and there is a Stadium Trust Board Meeting on Wednesday when there may be further information that can be disclosed.

I only read a poster on this forum said there was to be a statement, I've heard nothing from the Club.

I do know that there is a Trust Board Meeting on Wednesday though.

Things do seem to be in a state if disarray with SRW, Chairman, Supporters Trust Members and Stadium Trust Trustees all singing from different hymn books and not knowing what each other is saying.

I believe it says on his Twitter account that he would be making a statement on Minday which I presume is Monday.
