| Miller had his best game, it could be because it was against Hull or because of the influence of Brian Smith. If it is the latter then we must also say what would a Smith coached Hall be like compared to what we have seen under Webster.

There were times in that first half when the ball was like 'pass the parcel' for Miller.
He didn't want to take responsibility.
After Jordan Rankin took on the line and put the step in to score his try, maybe BS told Miller to do the same.
Looked more lively after his try and put a couple of good tackles in.

| Vastman would select Kirk ahead of Anakin thats how poor a judge he is. We were terrible last night until Anakin came on, he turned the game for us, he won every tackle which gave us quick plays which allowed scoots from acting half which got us on the front foot. He defense was aggressive, he hurts people. His hair is great also.

To be fair to him, I thought Kirke did some really good stuff last night.
By staying off the pitch!!!!!!
He just looks like he really doesn't want to be here. very poor effort indeed!

| Nice to finally get a win, although we really must sort our starts out. Too many times we are playing catch up and we will leave ourselves too much to do in games where we are playing someone who are not as poor as Hull were. Good to see Locke looking sharp and i feel with more games he will only get better from here and Sio was nice and steady for a first hit out in superleague and will continue to improve as time goes goes on. Miller after his try had his best game since he signed but was iffy in the first 30 minutes. But once he got that score his confidence seemed to rocket. Shout outs to Matt Ryan, Jon Molloy and Chris Annakin who were also big for us last night. I have to agree with the comments about Kirke though, he was really quite poor in that first quarter and i'm not sure playing him at second row is a good idea, i think it's prop or nothing for him these days.

First of all, good morning Belly.
One, never mentioned Kirke - ever - it was Washbrook and Molloy, both of whom contributed.
Two, if you want to play a silly, according to you Ryan isn't fit to lace Lord Anakins boots - ouch
Your obsession grows more bizarre by the day though I do agree about the hair

| I'm not one to defend Vasty. He clearly doesn't need it, but Annakin was quite good last night but he wasn't that good. He ran in hard and it gave us some energy, but he didn't break one tackle or drive on through either.
I had 4-5 players above him for MoM. In some ways your over the top praise spoils the effort he does put in as I feel like correcting the opinion rather than giving credit for a good game.

Mate I've never doubted Anakin - however we are dealing with one mans obsession here where he has clearly created a player in his mind who simply doesn't exist - or not yet anyway.
Belly is a nice bloke but he does love to grandstand more than most - not me obviously.

Fordy
I think you are right, I have had my doubts about the bloke for sometime. One of the first things Brian Smith did was move him to second row and I wonder if he thinks he is not up to playing prop.
When we have a full squad to choose from I bet Kirke is no where near selection, having said that I think Kirke would be more than happy not to play.
