For us he has very little to offer other than walk ins created by others. His scoots from dummy never result in a break and more often than not end up with him losing his footing. Time to give Johnstone another go.'"
Riley tops our list for tackle busts and is joint second for clean breaks, only behind Ali. Obviously he is also our leading try scorer. I'd say he offers more than enough going forward but in recent weeks he seems to be suffering from a crisis of confidence and has made a glut of handling errors and been found in no mans land defensively on more than one occasion. The former may be solved by giving Johnstone a shot but I think the latter isn't just down to Riley himself but a structure failure that better quality opposition teams are exploiting. As it stands until those shortcomings are fixed up then i'd be hestitent to put Johnstone in as you'd risk denting his confidence as well given our next two games are Wigan at home and saints away. I'd like to see Tom given some game time but if Webster isn't going to give him a go against Halifax then chucking him in against the big guns is possibly not the best move just now.
