The national press informs me that it is 8 wins from 14 for Webster.

| The pleasing thing, is that when we get a penalty, we use it right and come away with points or keep the pressure on.
Too many times down the years we have had a glut of penalties and come away with nothing, then the other team goes the length of the field and scores.
Think the only time we didn't make a penalty count was when Hall failed to find touch!

I'll hold my hands up, I was basing it mainly on what you did last year and being outside of the heartlands these days I wasn't aware of a few of your signings. Looking at your team sheet today I thought, actually, that's not a bad 17 at all.
Whether you're good enough for the 8 remains to be seen, but it's a cracking start anyway.

| I was at the game today , thought you played superbly at times , some great tries and a good expansive game,
still some things to work on , thought letting the ball bounce was a bad idea, and sometimes passes were thrown out blind..but a part from that i think Wakey have every reason to feel that this year can be a good one.

| For me it was a lazy pick us to finish bottom. Just because we finished 12th last year. We finished 12th due to a poor start from a horrendous pre-season, and a few close defeats putting top 8 out of the question with a few games to go and coasting home, getting busted players fixed up etc...
Think we've recruited very well this season and it's the strongest first 20 I've ever seen us have. After that we are like MOST teams and will struggle if injuries cripple us. Webbo identified early that at times we were a bit soft up front so recruited accordingly.
We've a decent set of forwards to lay the platform and plenty of real clever players in Smith, Miller, McShane, Godinet, Hall....
Happy for teams to just keep under-estimating us though because they will just come unstuck. Promises to be an exciting season...with a bit of luck injury wise there's no reason why we can't get in the top 8!

| No complaints from me today, well, apart from about my own team & coaching staff. Your team played well, Webbo clearly had a game plan and you executed it very well. You deserve to be pulling in more than 5 1/2 thousand though, especially given a decent travelling support from us.

I'm happy with that crowd TBH.
At least we know they all paid full amount, so though it doesn't look as good as the 7,000 we were posting against you a few years back it won't be any less revenue.
Let's hope however we build from this and they do improve.

| There were more than 5300 there I'm sure of it. Apart from letting the ball bounce Hall had a good game too, I know some KR fans didn't want him to leave

| Id like to say what a fantastic team performance, but think we look much more of an attacking threat with McShane in the side. What a fantatic signing him and Scott Anderson have been. Both have taken their performances from last season up a couple of notches. Anderson really is leading the props around the park and showing why he won an NRL final

| Sounded like an even better display from the team today and from what I coud make out no one had a poor game and all the new players are starting to make an impression. You got to say even though it's only 2 games in to the season but what Webster did when he took over last year to the start of the this year he's got the makings of an excellent coach. On the budget he was given he's identified what was the best way we were going to win games and then put a game plan in place to get the best out of them. Long may it continue.

I know a HKR Chairman that didn't either, just some Aussie cock of a coach who saw him out the door before he got the sack last summer.

| First it was Cozy Powell last week who failed to give us any credit for our win at Cas, now Charlie Chester says that our win was all down to them playing poorly, mind you 2 lucky wins can't be that bad
