Just to shed a bit of light on this before you all say HDP who/what?
Those of you that know me, will be aware of the issues and rough time we had with Little Leon and may have followed his story, He's doing Ok at the moment, looking at more surgery this year, but all is as good as it can be.
One of the upshots of having leon was that it made it impossible for Helen to hold down a "normal" 9 - 5 type job, as Hospital appointments, illness (of which there have been many) and extended hospital stays came at short notice, and resulted in extended time off work. So, to be able to have the Autonomy and flexibility required Helen has taken the brave step to set up on her own, offering bespoke OT services and Training. If you type HDP Occupational Therapy Ltd into a well known search engine, you will be able to view the website.
As you guys so kindly chose us as the good / needy cause a few years back ( a believe me, when I say how humbled I was by that, but also how grateful, as It allowed us to be able to take a short break away, when we were really struggling financially), I have decided that we should try and pay some of that kindness back. It's not much but (as we are not out of the woods by any stretch) but it's what we can afford and I think it's the right thing to do.
So, If you need any OT advice, get in touch, and again, thanks to you all for helping raise a bit of money for a good cause (who-ever we choose this year) and good luck.
