Aye, 29 players on their roster so far.
Lots of players to keep happy.

| So if Bradford go into admin again, will it go off their 1st league or the mini league?

That was very early in his career...Agar failed him and I still think that lad will be an international one day

29 players and seven props! Hopefully we'll have the greater quality rather than this quantity as WTW have already stated it'll be a smaller squad.

Lot of players who have to prove they're worth their place in the team.

Trouble is, are you an attractive enough club to attract that quality?

Of course we're not.
We are just a small club, not like the Mighty Bulls!

I think you're looking at this from the wrong perspective personally. I understand your point, but I'd be concerned if my recently relegated club, who have previously gone pop and have form for burying their head in the sand and not learning from past financial mistakes we're offering bigger contracts than SL club(s). That would set alarm bells ringing for me.

But we've got less salary cap to play with and we've already signed 29 players and are still in the market for a scrum half. That works out an average of £33k per player. At the moment, the average salary of a Super League player is about £60k.

| Gutted LW has gone think the lad has great potential, wish him all the best with Bradford.
I think our coaches are failing are younger players, if LW had been given more game time over the last 2 seasons he may have stayed. LW and Annakin should have been playing all season. Some people say LW cant pass... Well neither can Lyne on todays basis. So I've got to ask what are the coaches doing with them all day!? Is it not common sense that they should work on these weaknesses!!! Another young player I have sympathy for is Jowitt, thrown in at St Helens away, made a few mistakes yes, but showed real character and potential in his play, then dumped for the rest of the season and not even given a match in a dead rubber game. Would like Annakin to be a mainstay next year and for JW to bring Jowitt on and perhaps give him a few games a bit less tricky than St Helens away!

0-4 admission prices are free, if you want to make your child a member you can for £25 but match day admission is free, so at least criticise with accurate info

| And I thought the childish Bradford/Wakey arguments were behind us.
Pointless comparing the two squads as Wakey and Bradford have gone for two different tactics in recruitment. Wakey's gone for a smaller squad with more quality, Bradford have gone for a larger squad with players who "have a point to prove" we have few quality players.
Wakey could get a few injuries, and have a depleted line up. Bradford could find out that their players aren't that as good as hoped. Comparing squads is pointless and doesn't prove eithers financial position.
Again this is a pointless argument, as both clubs seem to be under the stewardship of astute businessmen who are trying to run it as a business first and foremost.
Shoddy chairman who just want fans as friends by offering cheap tickets are gone for both clubs hopefully.

| This is kinda drifting off subject. Let's keep it to Walshaw.
If you want to talk about the merits of the Bulls squad they have a perfectly good forum you can post on.
Walshaw is a good player I'm sad to lose. Bradford have a good one in my opinion.

| Thanks for the positive comments re Walshaw, what do you see as his best position? 2nd row or centre?
