its not a big up date but we went down tonight to tighten up the bolts to 80lb torque and trimmed the bolts low as possible and made sure there was no sharps, the club will get them painted as soon as.

the next stage is to get two barriers done on the west side which will be dug down as it seems that is the only way, we will also be looking at the north stand hopefully too then we can get them all tested.

So as a result of the excellent work done by the volunteers, what’s the likely capacity of BV for the opening match? Is it still 5333 or has there been a small increase?

No increase as yet, it a case of getting other two stands with samples to test

I shake my head in disbelief after that display tonight, us fans can fix the stadium issues but we can't fix the issues on the field,

the next stage is ready for the club to agree for the work to commence, this will include the north stand as well as east stand in digging down and laying bolts for the barriers to be bolted down when set.

Some the north stand footings are to be recommended to be reinforced where required this may alleviate any steel work alterations and cut the work load down.

hopefully this will be down through the week rather than the weekend but if your available to help clear the rubble that would be brilliant.

if any one is available tomorrow through the day there will be 4 barriers dug which will be 8 holes that will need clearing at daddycool face paint area near the tunnel, the work is being done by pro's donated by a very good fan of ours

with the digging it will be done in the day so if you can't make it due to work like me don't worry there are lads on with the job, not sure if they will be there at 4.30 but I'd check tomorrow via club.

8 holes will be dug for 4 barriers and set the next day if supplies have been delivered then it will be a case of waiting for it to cure around a week tighten down and torqued trimmed and ready for testing.
