| Quote: M@islebugs "Nothing was done by 'you' to avoid administration in 2011. The board asked for support from the supporters to meet the demands of creditors and you refused. A buyer came in, bought the club and came to some arrangement with the creditors.
In marked contrast the Bradford Bulls fans DID do everything to avoid administration raising £500k.'"
Unfortunately, by the time we were aware of the clubs debts Administration was a fait acompli. Even then though, our plight was exacerbated by the RFLs complicit behaviour in plotting Celtic Crusaders Administration and therefore helping them avoid a very large debt to HMRC. In retaliation, HMRC withdrew all payment plan facilities from Rugby League clubs. The first to suffer was Batley who almost went bust, the second was us.
The BoD at Trinity tried to rescue the club by appealing to the fans but weren't prepared to offer any guarantees about how the money would be spent or if the £500K was the total amount of debt or if there was more to come out of the woodwork. As a result the WTST advised fans not to contribute to the clubs official fund but if they did want to build a firefighting pot then they should place the money in an ESCROW Acct where it would be protected.
You are wrong to say that nothing was done to avoid Administration as some fans did rase an amount of money for the club and Sir Rodney Walker contributed just under £200K of his own money to pay the tax man.
When your fans were being asked for money our Supporters Trust went to great lengths to advise your Trust and the Bulls fans, however you and your fellow fans chose to not only ignore us but also treated us as though we were trouble causing.
The rest as they say is history

| We're digressing from the topic which is about Bradford Bulls & RFL's conflict of interest and their support for Bradford's administration which has avoided paying numerous creditors with the day after it was announced they will receive £300k

Quote: deeHell "Half way through the 2010 season we offloaded our 2 best players and top earners Danny Brough and Shane Tronc. At the end of that season we slashed the playing budget even further to a wage bill of comfortably less than a Million. In the lead up to your 2012 admin you continued with a playing budget that was near the full salary cap all supported by a first secret loan from the RFL. That followed the big lie from yourselves and the RFL that the lease was bought on the grounds that it was to protect the iconic status of Odsal. A lot of this assistant went to prop up a large playing salary. Your cloth should of been cut before any kind of assistance was offered, this would of been the the only fair and consistent way. Why did you as club feel this was not an option? My personal opinion and its a general perception in the game is that you think its beneath you as you still see yourselves as big club despite what your finances tell you.'"
Anything less than a 4 point deduction for Bradford going into administration would make the RFL look corrupt due to that conflict of interest over Osdal.
If that happens who would the RFL be answerable to? Corruption in sport has been investigated by external organisations previously.....

I'm not the club and I didn't lie about anything. In fact me, my brother and my cousin chipped in almost a grand to help pay the clubs debts. Thousands of Bulls fans can say the same.
YOU and I mean all of you who are taking a high moral stance over repaying debts chipped in precisely ZERO. If the double glazing guy hadn't stood up you'd have gone down without so much as one of you paying a tenner or taking any responsibility for your club, whilst whining about how unfair everything is.

And its already been explained twice why we didn't contribute. Because we didn't believe the money would be spent on paying off creditors and would be used to just keep us bumbling along for a bit longer.
Tell me, how much of the money donated by your fans, other fans, other clubs, players etc went to paying off creditors.......edited at this point. Can't say that I'm afraid.....Poptart

Of course not.

So the rotters used the money donated by Maislebugs and his extended family to avoid being personally liable for debts to the bank?
That is *precisely* why Wakefield fans didn't respond to our own Chairman's call for help; the money would have been nothing more than a way to delay the inevitable. I think we made a prudent decision.

So they used your hard earned and thoughtfully donated cash to remove personal liabilities at the bank thus doing no good whatsoever other then getting themselves out of the brown stuff and then scarpering "Scott free" leaving you genuine fans with empty pockets and a club in administration - exactly what we said they would do. That's why when asked we advised fans not to donate because we felt it would only delay the inevitable administration.
Still don't get it do you.
