Only one division they can be in!!! Great addition to an already competitive league which can only be good for the 14s

Great news all round I'd say - a great team joining a great league ..win , win for everyone . Hope it all works out ok & I'll look forward to our visit over there ( I found the hot chocolate to be particularly nice in the past )

| The draw for what BARLA Hull lovers are wanting a west v east final.
Congratulations must go out to east hull who thrashed a team from liverpool by 80. The draw as separated the teams again and the power teams west hull and east leeds also are separated.
Crigglestone will have to improve playing facilities and will fight all day long. They still have a team of around 6 stars and 7 who try. West Hull very strong. Although it is tie of the round.
I thought Stanley would be in the draw and im keeping out of political matters but im sure a little belief from some or a different play here or there and another wakey club whould be in the draw.
unlucky rangers.

| Some big scores in the under 14s (i only follow. 4 year groups
im sure Stanley will be gutted , my lad as told me they have quite a strong player who was the difference, which is fair comment in a 2 pt match.
Last time i saw Chorley was up at Crigg in a Gala and they were tricky then .
Also on the theme of Galas and Stanley Rangers they will bo doubt agree that west hull beating the Newton Storm makes them a very very dangerous team indeed as the Storm were a talent 3 years ago.
Its common thought amongst us up Crigg that the Hull team were in effect hard done to in the Yorkshire Cup Final, I do think this is the tie of the round crigg v west hull and although its " under 14s" if you are at a loose end on the 3rd march get yourself up to crigg for a humdinger.
i think crigglestone are the last wakey 14s team left .
In the wakey cup i think Crigglestone play at Stanley this week weather permitting

| Sorry p.s.
does anyone know when the leagues are finalized.
i think its great about the Hull teams but i think we now need play-offs.
its only junior level and the hull teams have to travel every other week which is unfair i think to them. As Heworth used to show in the 14s 12 10s as far as i know they can get a team for home games, but bot away.
If due to parent participation teams suffered then this is unfair.
i also hear Stanley get promoted and Stanningley stay up. I hope so just as long as Celtic and Hunslet don't suffer .
looking more toward than wakey , i think any 1 of 8 could take it if the rumours are true.

watched the dvd of yesterdays game and to lose right at the death is hard but to lose to a try where the lad has been tackled in touch before grounding and chorleys person running the line is even worse..never mind was a good game against a big chorley team ! good luck to them and all who are left in!

I understand the league 1 will be:
East Leeds
Crigg
Siddal
Cas Panthers
Lock Lane
Shaw Cross
Dewsbury Celtic
Hunslet Warriors
Newsome
East Hull
Roll on kick off!!

That's one tough group!!!
The only club I can see objecting would be shaw cross the last time I spoke with their coach a few week back they only had 11 players has they have lost a few to football.
Cas academy yr9 were beaten over in hull yesterday by reigning champs serius which is more or less the west hull team in the semi of the yorks cup 26-20 Again the hull official was completley biased towards the hull school what amazes me more is the game was supposed to be a neutral venue and ref!!!lol

| Any thoughts from those still in BARLA cup about the 3rd round clashing with first league match? Only suggestion would be using only postponement, though not keen to do that, and the bigger issue would come if we get past 3rd round with no postponements left.

I think a bit of common sense needs to come into it, there will be plenty of chance to catch up the league games later in the year!!
Cas panthers travelled to east hull for the now annual memorial game and again it was a good work out for both teams. The game finished 28-16 to easts but its fair to say there is very little between the tŵo sides.
Again great hospitality from easts who will be a great addition to the Yorkshire juniors!!
