Bureta Faraimo (23 years old) of USA looks very powerful for a winger and took 2/3 Aussies to stop him every time he got the ball. Had a good game against Aussies.
He's not small at 6ft tall & 110kg (17 1/2 stone) either! Be an excellent replacement for Cockayne and is playing part time rugby for Mackay cutters in Aus.
Not a rumour just a suggestion of a possible good cheap signing for WTW with overseas quota places available. Not broken into NRL but could be given a chance at Super League?

| I'd like to see us try and tempt Ryan Tongia back but doubt it'll happen due to how Agar had treated him the first time.

Tongia can't have been much cop as he doesn't seem to have played at any decent level since WTW. Can't afford to gamble too much on players there must be some evidence they will add to the quality of the squad.
This bloke could offer more than playing prt time and working as a 'stores person'....

Yes I watch a little Union but not down in Australia and it's not generally televised in the UK unless you can afford Sky. Playing for Sunnybank? If available to RL I'd have thought he would have been in the Papua New Guinea squad but he wasn't so why try to sign him?

I know there will be those against this signing but his experience and strong running will be needed next year. Hopefully it's on a 1 year deal.

| Richie Moore will go well for you guys.
Odd brain fart aside (which a prop with his off loading desire will never come off 100% of the time) he did well in the limited stints he had with us last year.
There were times where he deserved picking in front of others ( i'm thinking Kirke and Bailey) as when he did get a few games he didn't let anyone down but he clearly wasn't in McDermott's inner circle of trusted favourites)
He always offered good aggression which JP aside was often missing in our pack and he possesses something none of our other props (again maybe JP aside) had....an offload game.
Granted he'll still have the mad moments where he'll try an offload that's not on and turn over possession, give the odd silly penalty away, usually through fatigue IMO and be caught out on defence now and again but not many props are perfect.
Given his likely low cost in terms of wages I think he will turn out to be a fairly astute signing for you guys.
All the best for 2014. I really hope you surprise a few people

That's a really good summation of Richard Moore, I'd add that he'll likely be given a remit by Richard Agar and will have a clearly defined role, also he's one of the best kick chasing front row forwards you'll find in the game.
