I'm not defending Fox for that try - Foster is no star winger and should have been stopped. My point is that Fox isn't the only one with defensive weaknesses.
I think he may be one on the players Agar was referring to in his post match comments. Well, so be it, drop him. Like everyone else on here I want the most capable team on the park.

If Agar dragged Cowling off for shooting out of the defensive line, then I guess he will drop him for the next game. It would be harsh as I thought he went well yesterday and dropping a young lad for making a mistake in only his second SL game would be poor man management IMO.
He made special mention of Lyne so he won't be dropped and to be fair Lyne played well enough to reatin his position.

I would be an happy man if fox never pulled on a Wakey shirt again.
The last three games our pack has given their all and let nothing through down the middle. Then to see what happens when the ball ends up wide must be heart breaking.
Lets face it ,it is now too often. Just watched SL full time he was totally half hearted against all three trys on his side. I am not suggesting he could have stopped them all but on every occasion he certainly could have tried harder.

| the one from the half way line was Tim Smith's fault not Fox's IMO - if you watch Smith on the replay he got out the way.
I think you had the ball about 80% in the first half so Bradford were there to be taken

That was the 4th, I'm on about the 3 others. 2 in first half and that final total pathetic effort on Foster.

I think that was the one where Bradford worked him over - ran at him 3 times I think and he missed the 3rd; that's a fairly simple strategy from Bradford and he should have got some help.
Ironically, from a player who has had obvious defensive frailties in the past, I though Smith tackled ok yesterday - he certainly got involved more than usual.

| Have to say you don't need to be Wayne Bennett to realise that Fox is a week link both with the high ball and at tackling. Any team worth their salt will target him.

This will be a major blow if HKR get either player but particularly Amor!
If you want to trim the wage bill you don't get rid of your star players you trim off the fringe players not likely to feature.
It will show a glaring lack of ambition by the club, confirm that we're still a feeder club for others and put off a lot of season ticket sales including mine.

| Every club has to sell players and if the offer is a good one then it must be tempting for the club especially with the tax bill that now needs paying. It's always going to be like this until we get to Newmarket or new investment comes in before. If we have to sell a couple and get a decent price we won't be the first or the last club to do it and it won't effect my decision to renew my season ticket for my club.

| Cockayne I could well see at HKR. Amor is better than that and if he were to be sold I imagine one of the bigger teams coming in for him.

Not every club HAS to sell players, the better ones don't have to - they sell surplus players - a bit like Warrington offloading Bobby Goulding to us. If he had been like his dad they wouldn't have sold him.
It's only newspaper talk at the moment and hopefully it won't happen.
As for Newmarket - that will only be a success IF the team are a success. More than one team are playing in new stadiums in front of crowds of barely 1000.
Selling players may be necessary to balance the books but it is also a downward spiral to onfield performances.
A successful, well run club, should not have to sell players to survive. I honestly thought those days were over.

Hull KR or anyone for that matter can "look" at Ben or Kyle or even Sam Tomkins. It keeps the fans happy and off the backs of the Board, maybe we should try it.
I don't believe what I read in the papers about Rugby League.
