Agar has his dissenters and doubters (including me), but he's been proved right time and again. Stability in the squad breeds success. Hoping for a big performance from the forwards tomorrow. If we can keep our first choice pack (and Smith at HB) fit, it could be one of the best seasons for a long time.
Ironically, Lyne's enforced rest could be a good thing for him, as long as it's not too long. He'll come back chomping at the bit and competition for places is the best way of maintaining performances. #COYT #TWAS

Lee Smith will want to try harder to stay in the team.

Hope so because Reece was getting better with each game,our wing play on both sides was good and a threat to any team instead of a weak point as in past seasons.

I might get some criticism from this question but with playing against such a big Huddersfield pack & some large backs that have also spent some time in the pack last season -

Was the loss of Lynne an opportunity to play big Vinny Mellars at centre to almost act as another forward if the need arose during the match?

He's bigger (at over 6ft 2 " and more than 16 stones), defensively stronger & more powerful than Lee Smith? Vinny did a stint at second row last season and seems to always take two/three to stop him?

Don't get upset your players are very good and sure you wouldn't swap any of them for any of the Giants players, fans who watch their team weekly always feel their players are the best and most would say the same about Wigan, Leeds or Wire players so don't take it personally.

Think its gonna be a real close tight game on Sunday and just hope we can edge it

I most certainly would swap some of our players for some of yours, that's the point no team is 100%.

I don't know how emotions work in Huddersfield, Im not sure even Desmond Morris would. But to my way of thinking it looks like your compadres who were getting upset not me - I'm fine though not in a rush to compliment your club again any time soon.

I don't think he is that bad. He's a proven SL player and an ex-NRL player with bags of experience of centre,wing and last year covered at second row when there was a need. We need to have trust and confidence in all our squad. I wouldn't play Annakin at centre that would be suicide.

I was talking about Mellars not Lee Smith replacing Lynne at centre where he played most of last season. If we're not going to play him then sell him like John if we can. Albeit I would except the argument that a fully fit in-form Lee Smith is a better centre probably than Mellars.
