| I am more than happy with a 28-0 win at London. It should give the players confidence for next week's game.

Listening on radio I can't remember a SL game where a team actually spent as much time on the opposition line as we did today, London should have been done in and out on their feet by h/t but it sounds like we made life hard for ourselves and 28-0 as good as it looks doesn't sound like enough reward for effort to me.
Call me critical but we probably won't have another game as easy as that all season and many more in which we'll get beat with similar performances.'"
I tuned in while doing a spot of tiding up in the garden and was frustrated to hear the amount of tries that had been blown away in the first half, this could of come back to haunt us but it didn't,
they just came out and continued the same game plan and it worked better.
I fair bet they won't be as many games for the amount of possession and dominance of the opposing half.
would you of preferred a closer score line and less dropped chances or as we did and niled them at their our ground. I know what I would of wanted

| Going on previous results I would have been happy with a one point win down in London! Great result, well done lads!

Strange also that they are now one of the worst teams in the comp now we have beaten them yet this time last week they were a hard team to beat. Give it a rest man it's getting boring, a win is a win.
Not warning anyone of anything, just having an opinion like most on here and my opinion is that 28-0 in a game where the opposition barely got out of their own half the whole game and into our 20 about twice was not a score to reflect the extremely lopsided share of possession on the opposition line, and whoever said they were a hard team to beat last week it wasn't me so don't attribute opinions of others to me.
The poster that I was replying to was raving about the result, I was merely pointing out that poor finishing like that would lose us a game such as next week's.
My opinion is that providing we can keep the key players fit this season we could be nearer challenging for the top 6 than top 8, but we need to be more clinical than we apparently were today to be in with a chance. I think we've assembled a very good squad and have high hopes for this season, that is why I'm so critical of today.
That is my opinion.
I don't care what yours is!

I would have preferred that they were more clinical and the score was 50+ as it should have been, Ben Cockayne being one example of being greedy and going for a try that he couldn't score when the easy option was to pass the ball to Mathers for a walk in. As you say there probably won't be another game this season where we have so much possession and the chance to run a score up, but there are likely to be one or two where we are on the wrong end of a big score, we need to take the opportunities when they arise to keep the points difference on the + side
People need to get rid of the small team mentality and start expecting more from the team.
Apparently the players haven't set themselves a target this year for where they want to finish, I don't know but I would guess the reason for that is that setting low targets builds a small team mentality in their minds and allows them to accept failure, and I suspect that this squad of players think that they're a lot better than most of our fans think they are.

Youre talking ludicrous. 28 point winning margin, nilled the opposition away from home.
What more do you want? Yes we weren't clinical, but created chance after chance - think you're being unreasonable tbh.

| Fantastic result for the boys and im gutted that work had to take priority today.
From our own supporters this week, i cant remember a score prediction to compare to the result and no matter how good or bad London turn out this season, we have to be chuffed with 28 -0.
Ok, we bombed some chances in the first half, but in years gone by, heads would have dropped and we may not even have managed a victory but today, we just kept hammering their line.
Congrats to the team and a big well done to the faithful who made the journey south, respect to all.
