| One of the major conditions of bids was that no players were sold? Thought the bids had to be unconditional?

| Quote: bigchris "Can you not read? I have just said that obviously we are in admin and it is the administrators decision.
I said it appears that the administrator is trying to maximise return for the club and as so retaining the players as a priority to sell the club as an on going concern. As I have also said I believe one of the conditions of offers put forward is that no players are sold. Why do you think he has kept the players?
Where have I said the club/business are deciding to keep hold of the players?'"
Yes I can read, can you not comprehend?

| Basically, bulls may get into playoffs with a team they can't afford. It's been going on for far too long now, it's starting to go a bit stale. (a bit like the 'iconic' odsal pitch at the corners lol)

| Quote: bigchris "Funnily enough I have not worked out the exact percentage, it just appears that a lot of the fans having a go at our club and hoping we fail are Wakey fans.
Our administrator has approached our administration in a completely different way to yours, some of his decisions have been very strange but if bold decisions like sacking staff (until a buyer is found and knowing a fund would probably be set up) rather than the players has meant we could retain our players, then maybe it was the right decision. Would we have got this support between seasons? Not so sure, very much doubt it.
The fact we were awarded a license when our finances were in a mess is strange I agree, but I'm sure we are not the only club in the same situation.'"
Now this brings a whole new view on things!! Did Bradford purposely go into the season with the knowledge that they would go bust (They did budget to lose 100k a month) and that this would pull on the RFL to assist them? Rather that than do it in the close season and have to sell some of the playing staff?

Any team over spending by £1.2M should have a squad capable of winning the grand final

| I'm fairly ambivalent about the Bull situation because:
1. If the Bulls hadn't gone into admin, we would be out of the play-off race, as they would have secured their play-offs and be in 6th.
2. If the RFL had helped out Ted & Co like they have Bradford, we wouldn't have got a franchise and would be in the Championship. It is entirely because of the lack of support from the RFL, in that we had a request for a loan from the RFL turned down, that we ended up with AG, and it was the plans, promises and enthusiasm of AG that got us a franchise.
I just kinda think that it all works out in the end. We now have reassurances about staying at 14 teams, which was probably the sweetener to get us, Cas and Salford on board, and so maybe there is something in it for us after all. And Cas and Salford, etc.

Same as there always was, I suppose. Are any of them ready? All that's happened is that we are "as we were". Arguably, competing for a franchise place against a couple of weak SL clubs rather than seeing the weak being weeded out by a reduction in number is a bonus.

Although I feel it is all a bit unfair, I have to agree with you. I'm happy how it turned out for us and we'll probably have a bargaining chip now so let them do what they have to do.

| While I've no problem with the RFL helping the Bulls or the Bulls staying in Super League, what really gets me is the fact that they've kept all of their players, especially as we had to sell a lot of our playing staff in the same situation. Furthermore will the sky pundits now raise questions over Bradford's ability to get a license as they did ours? I'm fed up of the constant comments about us only getting a license because of the Crusaders going bust, the fact is ours was not the worst bid! But now surely similar media pressure should come onto Bradford. Don't think it will though.

Well if it makes you feel any better we're probably screwed in terms of recruitment for next year if we're in SL. All the players worth signing will already have deals in place, including the better of our many ooc players.
It's the local lads like Bateman, Koppy, Whitehead and Donaldson that we need to stick around to build a club around though.

| This can't be allowed!!!!! No bad-wishing towards Bradford but they still have no clear owner yet and this saga has been dragging on for far too long. Bradford are now to our sport what Portsmouth are to football, nobody knows what the hell is going on!!!!

| Wont be any £60 season tickets at the Bulls next year thats for sure.In fact one would think they will sell hell of a lot less with the price they should be. Thats just to keep the wage bill going for the players that will still be at contracted to the club. Then again they only need go crying to the RFL and everything will be ok you never know the RFL might even pay for the binos so fans can see the action at Odsal.
What I want to know is who the hell went through the books at the last round of franchise was it Blind Bob.
