It strikes me as bizarre to suggest that a Head Coach, who's key performance indicator is on-field performance, would snub players who he knew to be better than others, simply because he didn't perceive them as 'his' signings.
If James Elston had signed Greg Inglis prior to Mr Agar's arrival, would he be on his way up to Mount Pleasant for a stint with Batley?'"
Surely it can't be that simple.

| Quote: Trinity Till Death "Honestly, i can't say whether it's the right move or not as i haven't seen enough of Ellis to make a judgement. But as mentioned, he's never really been given a chance and like a few others has only played games in which we never really stood a chance.
The baffling thing is Aiton seems to be used as a utility forward, generally at loose so surely that creates a spot at hooker? Ellis was Bronco's player of the year and was on the fringes of the England set up last year under a relatively inexperienced coach. So, why can't Agar get that form out of him?'"
Because Agar is pants.

You're not allowed to talk to players until after a certain date, although i'm not sure when this is. I think it's end of June?

| You can't talk to players still under contract but there is nothing to stop an agent doing this behind a clubs back and if Bradford can't really talk to players because of their situation then you can't really fault the player and his agent. There future comes before club in this case.

| I think, if the club is not going to issue a new contract, it allows the players to talk to other clubs.

I wouldnt want him tbh, his form since he left us hasnt been particually good. Darrell Griffing better option if were going in for a ex prop always gives 100%. Cant see either of them coming in over the next few weeks though so aiton will prop on sunday again

Not wishing to add fuel to anyone's fire, BUT i saw him in Sainsbury's yesterday at the White Rose, i had a wakey tracky top on, he spotted and nodded and said hi, anyhooo he is surprisingly not that big, i was actually surprised!!!
In the wise words of Obi Wan Kenobi (Jedi Master), he is not the prop we are looking for, as much as i liked him as a wakey player, and a fairly prolific try scorer.

As a prop, no. As a player with some guts and a bit of fire, yes I'd have him back.
