Quote: Chief Stinkwort "he's a pretty shrewd and hard-baked cookie when it comes to contract negotiations.
Iestyn Harris will probably testify to this...the circumstances may have been different but the player's wishes didn't seem to count for much there.'"
Firstly, Iestyn Harris was not compromised by his "Exit" contract, it was his future employers
Secondly, there is no way on this earth that a "Restrictive Covenant" like Harris's could ever be implemented again and would be classed as illegal under "Current" European employment laws (that even the RFL have to adhere to)
Personally though I hope Kyle remains a Wakefield player as long as possible and the longer he stays the more fond of the club he will become, when we played Bradford at the end of last season and we were invited on to the pitch I spoke to Kyle and asked him if he would be coming back to Wakey next season or going back to Leeds, his reply was "I really hope I can stay here as it's been great and the fans and club have given me the chance to prove myself" so if it's down to player choice I know where I'd be putting my money
