I'm pretty narked off with Huddersfield constantly sniffing round and taking our players. I really like Smurph, he is really solid in defence and a true hard worker. Whilst his attacking flair may not be overly noticeable by some, in recent years when he filled in at FB he has been really solid and prevented a lot of tries.

I can see trips to the Galpharm in future leading us to sing "Are you Wakefield in disguise?". (Mind you I dare say a number of F.C. fans may have a similar version of that classic tune to us next year!)

i wouldn't want any of these player in the red white and blue, i don't think that they'd give us much better options than the player we have let go. We should get a decent fee for him if he wants to go to shudds and sign some players we actually want not players we are offered cos they cant fit him under their salary cap. However if they were to offer us a player like danny brough a different decision all together - a player who will actually add something to the team not another squad player like these three would be.

we need to stop signing squad players (we seem to have stopped this to some extent) and start signing some genuine starters.

ideally want murphy to stay, but let's ask for luke robinson, or that big lump with the pony tail to see if they're serious.

He's hardly had chance to show any attacking flair, the ball has rarely got out to the centres or wingers in recent seasons. 5 drives and a kick tactics are a back killer !

As far as i am concerned if he has a year left on his contract why are shudds even talking to him, this is a joke and as usual young lads are seeing the bright lights instead of getting there heads down and learning their craft. Just ask jay pitts.

Not bad at all - worked hard and put in some good stints. Not sure that we need him now though, particularly given the dip in form since returning to Shudds.

I tend to agree with other posters who've said that if Shudds want Murphy, we should make them pay what we think he's worth, not accept another bunch of cast-offs; of whom, Raleigh is ok - the other two are probably surplus to requirements.

Agar asked to talk to him, because he wants him, he would be a starter for the Wildcats, not a squad player. Giants dont need him to leave.

but he isnt a prop? he's a back rower filling in as the giants let jackson and sculthorpe go and never replaced them. If he joins i'm sure it would be as a back row/loose and prop IF needed. However teams now seem to use a loose as an extra prop so he may be doing the same job, but with a different name!!
