that's a bloody good come back normally lads heads would go down, point that i would express to them at their next training

its very hard to focus on playing when its gone away from you to that extent

In the presentations afterwards it was mentioned by both sets of coaches ..good on 'em all...good team they are

if that is the quality and intensity of division 1 then WOW!. played in good spirit and a never say attitude from a well drilled castleford side who play with heads up attitude no matter what is facing them.

Hats off to every player, coach and parent a credit to the sport

It's a damn good year for local rl this one - they'll be some good stuff to be watched in div 2 tbh. Hope some of these lads are playing in the old red, White & blue in a few years & aren't snapped up by someone else

Goes to show how well the panthers did to come back which was also uphill against the wind and after losing 3 players to injury .

the 3 winning teams all avoid each other next week so east leeds , moor and panthers will be out to make sue an early gap does not open up in what is a very short season with little time to claw back points.

Red white n blue or a diffrent colour im sure some of the 40 kids today will be playing pro in 10 years from now

that's good nice to see presentations being done.
last week the normanton side waited while the kids was changed before they entered the club house and didn't do their presentation we was left to do our own. it will be probably be the same tomorrow at parkside as they do theirs at training which I personally think it takes the edge of the day of the game.

after all its all about the kids and understanding that not only is it about the game but its also socialising after it with the opposition

That's ridiculous Snowie , I know there's going to be a time when the presentations aren't that important anymore to the lads( don't know what age that'll be ) , but even so , you still go back in the clubhouse and have a chat & a laugh with the opposition lads whatever .
I think it's good to hear what the opposition coaches think too .. seeing it from their perspective kind of thing .
I think it means quite a bit at our age for them to be praised by their coaches & parents too IMO - suppose when they're 16,17 it'll probably be different !

...quality and intensity from division 1 sides??? 6 teams at the moment, next year matters... remember that both your teams were well beaten by stanley prior to the cas game!

and stop trying to take under age kids...we have 1 who was advised to sign on with under 13's even tho under 12!! played well with us today
