Im with you why would ted be spending money on players who no doubt will be on a good wage only to lose it in a couple of years.to me if the club wasnt confident of getting a ground he would do as the past few saeson and expect kear to build a team from our lower leagues |

Just to play Devils avocado for a moment, but I suppose you could argue that it could be a last throw of the dice to try and acheive something of note on the field. It would be extremely awkward for SL to kick out a side that had, for example, won the Challenge Cup or got to the SF in the play offs...

You could also argue that Ted knows we won't get a stadium and is trying to strengthen our case for SL survival by making us stronger on the field of play.

Im not up for begging, would much prefer to buckle down and do some graft to get us to where we NEED to be. Tick every box and give them no reason to ever doubt what we bring to SL!
