Would cooper Kronk be an idea as he is out of contract soon i believe.
If not we could have to make do with Lockyer

Would like to think we would be looking at a home grown player (if anything happens) but they are thin on the ground, would hate to lose Danny and replace him with a Aussie TBH.

Surely some ground for complaint is in order here. You can't possibly go round declaring your interest in a player that still is half way through his 3 year contract. Especially not the way it's been done via the press on several occasions. It’s clearly unsettling to club and the player. I mean are we going to keep having this all year? There are proper channels to go through, at the moment it doesn't seem to be respected.

Message to Brough: a club with some cash to spend is interested in you. If you want some of it, play your socks off for the rest of the year, particularly when the Hudds coach has an unimpeded view of you for 80 minutes in a couple of weeks. Lifting the Challenge Cup might add a nought or two onto your salary.
