So we’ve had Jowitt, Battye and now it’s Arundel’s turn to be bagged.

Who’s next for heavens sake get a grip.

Arundel is a solid experienced centre and your considering putting a winger with around 10 games in SL to centre with no prior experience in that position.

Arundel all day long and then if need be Greensmith.

We haven’t quite slipped back into doom and despair just yet.

If anything, in time Kershaw will do a Kirmond and move wing to 2nd row. Quick and strong.

lyne & Arundel will be the centres moving forward, just need to plug a gap next week.

Is innes Senior still with us or hae Hudds recalled him with their covid issues? He was being named in the squad up to this week? He played centre last year against Leeds, i'd guess he'd get a go.

Arundel is technically our best centre, his skill set is a higher standard that any of the other options, his ability to make correct defensive reads is better than the others, his ability to time a pass releasing his winger is better than the others, his catch and pass ability is better, his one on one defence is better, his defence of kicks is better. He is not as quick as Lyne, his tackle bust ability is not as good as Bill T, he is not as evasive as Lyne. As I say overall he is our best centre and certainly if we manage to create a three on two or two on one you want Arundel involved, much less chance of butchering the opportunity.
Centre is the hardest position defensively, have a look at the defensive reads Toby King made last night for Warrington, his decision making was brilliant, Arundel is head and shoulders our best centre when it comes to that aspect of the game.

Joe Arundel every day of the week for me. It’s a big loss losing Bill for the season but at least we get to see Joe in action for hopefully a long run in the team & see if he’s as good as a lot of us (me included) think he is.

Good shout that one ,certainly got the power and pace to be a handful and can tackle which is always a bonus
