I'm a strong believer that officials should not oversee the same team in consecutive weeks. At least we will learn not to get any injuries this week, since it appears to be a yellow card offence with this guy.

We should be confident in our own skills to win the game. Top teams get on with it. Struggling teams blame the ref.

I agree, a couple of things went our way let's not forget. The pass from Miller to Ashurst for his first try was decidedly dodgy! Penny's try that was ruled out for a forward pass looked pretty flat to me, so on another day we could have lost on those decisions being different.

Exactly right, let's not see a problem that isn't there.
There is a chance that if he has thought about last weeks game and sin binning 3 of our players, a little harshly, he may be more lenient with us

Apart from the 2 obvious ones he got wrong Jones-Bishop and Kirmond's sin binning I thought he had a decent game, a few perceived wrong decisions which evened themselves out overall, but your spot on there we were struggling after the Clark try and we were desperately looking for anything from the referee to halt their dominant play.
Tbh I'm glad it's him on Sunday than a couple more I could mention.

True, overall I didn't think he was that bad, don't think he had a choice binning BJB, even though him taking a knock probably contributed to the incident. Thought he was a bit quick on the draw with Kirmond though....

If him taking a knock contributed to it, then surely a bit of discretion by the referee could have been applied.

That would lead to all players committing professional fouls to fake injuries in order to not be sin binned!

Remember when John Kear came to us for those last 6 matches?
We were at Bradford and defending our line David March got clattered and eventually came staggering back literally without a clue where he was, he bumped into the player playing the ball and the good and greatly Ganson penalised him for interfering when everybody in the ground could see he was poorly, my point is I don't think Marchy was taking advantage by faking injury.
Ganson did not use any discretion either when some things are not always clear cut, imo that is.

That's a perfect example of when discretion should be used I agree. But ganson was a prat so you wouldn't expect anything else. I can just see Tomkins or Hardaker rolling around in the play the ball everytime if it meant they could slow down play without been sin binned.

It's certainly a fine line that's for sure, the good thing is we survived and fortunately he's free to play and give the coach different options on Sunday should he choose to.
