Is this the fall out from the confiscated bottle thread or something entirely different? Personally I've never had a problem when watching the game but it is worrying to see a percentage of the small number of supporters who do give a stuff about the club start to walk away. The club can not afford to lose supporters and should be looking at reasons why they feel aggrieved and coming to an amicable solution to keep their custom.

Its a bit to do with the confiscated bottle job, but its the way a loyal fan like Al has been treated, I fear is family may walk away and his mates, big knock on affect.

I knew Al when I was younger and played rugby with both of his sons. Though, I don't speak to him much these days I know he bleeds red, white and blue. The chairman really should take this one into his own hands. When someone has spent thousands supporting trinity over the years, home and away, they deserve the respect of the club and the club has been nothing short of disrespectful.

This is sad, Al personifies the Wakefield Trinity and has supported through thick and thin, it's ludicrous that a man so steeped in the red white and blue has felt so aggrieved that he's washed his hands of the club.

If this is down to some jobsworth thats spent a whole 5 minutes being employed at Belle Vue and thinks he has authority over stand up and respected fans like Al who has spent a lifetime going above and beyond the call, then I'm disgusted and it needs sorting out!

Al, if you're reading this I hope you'll reconsider, Wakefield Trinity is your club and everyone else is just passing through, Don't let them take it away from you.

It is a sad day when guys like Al and his family walk away from us due to the pig-headedness of those in charge. And believe me he is not alone in walking and there are others on the brink of doing so. Maybe our great leaders ought to consider customer care a little more than they do at present otherwise it will hit their precious balance sheet more than they realise.

No club no matter how wealthy can afford to loose supporters like ElRey and his family. RL is simply not big enough.

I'm shocked and very concerned to hear this. Whilst I can't say that I know El Rey personally I have spoken to him a couple of times. I know he is an out and out Wakefield supporter for life. For someone/something to make this happen causes me a great level of concern as expressed by others in this thread.

Whatever the club have done needs look at and addressing. Maybe it is a misunderstanding or a clear difference of views? I've no idea.

Whatever it is the club needs to be bringing in new fans not driving away the lifeblood of the club.

I'm very saddened on this news.

Not happy at all the way Al as been treated over this,The club ie Mr Carter/Daddycool should get invovled with this matter asap.
