Very long ones!

Sykes might miss out but Washbrook will be the first name on the teamsheet.

Quote: Theboyem "So from that i'd go...

Mathers
Fox
Collis
Lyne
Riley

Sammut
Godinet

Anderson
McShane
Smith
Kirmond
Ryan
Moore

Scruton
Raleigh
Annakin
Siejka

I'd go for a big pack to try and dominate. Mathers needs to return so sammut can get back in the halves. Lyne in the centre, not sure Sykes has the legs anymore. Him and Washbrook to miss out.'"

I'd go with this, leave Sykes and dropsy out and we stand a chance.

He wouldn't be playing LF though.
We'd be playing with 3 props and 2 back rowers.

Yep seems quite a modern trend these days, Leeds did it with Moore & Bailey last year, Wigan have done in with Flower when O'Loughlin has been injured plus other teams. Several NRL clubs do it also, including the Roosters and they didn't do bad last year. When the alternative is the ineffective Washbrook then it's probably worth a go.

WAKEFIELD TRINITY WILDCATS NEVER FINISHED BOTTOM OF SUPER LEAGUE NEVER RELEGATED NEVER INVOLVED IN FAKE MERGERS:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_28143.jpg

Here's what i'd go for as an experimental line up. Mcshane our top tackler at full back possibly to interchange with Ryan where his height may be an advantage with dealing with the bomb. The giant Nick Scruton to negate the threat of Carney on the wing. Godinet to punch some holes at prop with Collis tackling everything that moves at hooker. Moore and Washbrook pulling the strings in the halves, the rest i've just plonked anywhere.

Any chance of a 3 year contract?

Think the team pretty much picks itself personally....

Sykes & Raleigh to miss this one for me..

Nothing against Raleigh, just prefer the other 4 props at the moment......for all the stick that Washbrook gets I dont think he's been anywhere near our worst player the last few weeks.....possibly unlucky in that his comeback into the team coincided with our poor run of form....

Me personally, would put that more down to playing much better opposition....HKR away who have done very well since beating us....and Leeds twice which speaks for itself.....just seen last weeks League Express for the first time today and funny how a totally neutral person (the match reporter) had Washbrook down as our best player....once mud sticks though eh......

For a while i thought you were serious but you've left kirmond at 12. he'd be much better as the water carrier as he'd be on well before any of the others was thirsty. icon_wink.gif

It's in the Yorkshire Post this morning that Mathers will be back at full back. a046.gif

Think we've lacked real go forward in the pack in recent weeks so I'd play five props in the 17 to ensure we have a chance of dominating the ruck area and now even more important as we don't have Lauitiiti so will be weaker in the pack with the big man's absence.

Still unsure about the quality of Siejka and wonder whether Wildie is a lot better defensively and quicker at the play the ball (can't be though surely as he's not Australian? eusa_wall.gif )

"! Wakefield Trinity Wildcats...The team that just wont go away !":icons15f0_files/4861-863FALH-msnicons.jpg

I think its important that the forwards are on top this afternoon and Id go with someone like Annakin at LF from the off and run him as a third prop.

Id also have mathers at FB with Sammut and Godinet in the halves, meaning sykes misses out. All this business of Sammut at FB and Sykes in the halves just isnt working for me.

mind you...not a lot is working at the moment! hopefully today is the day that changes.
