The club is in an extremely precarious position. Whilst best interests would definitely be at heart, I'd be more worried if my club's immediate future was in the hands of a rookie who is compromised by fanatics...

I have question marks how the last owner got away with what happened for so long. How can Elston be paying a cheerleading wife 50k a year and 200 quid + on match days. MC was an accountant and being on the board he must have been walking around blindfolded but what could he have done? Ring the police there is a robbery taking place? Fair play to MC taking us on. It is good he is honest but at the same time the fans deserve some light at the end of the tunnell having the amount of crap we have put up with year on year. Our gates are still excellent after what we have been through. It sounds like reach 400,000 thousand or else or reach 3 thou members or else. Many fans have probably had enough we need some TLC Mr Carter not we need this and that. The last regime run riot and you were on the board the fans have done Jack 'the next word begins with S' wrong. One thing MR Glover did well was advertisement and merchandising that is one main thing we can take from his reign. What happened with the money is another question but he did do that part well.

In fairness I could do a lot of things well, if I didn't have to pay for them! And I'm not sure, and can't be bothered checking, but I don't think I've ever blamed the fans. I said words to the effect of, revenue will equal expenditure, and the club will therefore find it's natural level, without the help of a benefactor.

I appreciate your honesty and it makes a fair change but we also need some good marketing to get people onside again, and some positivity.
