| The Sun is no excuse it's here (yes even in this country) 365 days a year. If he can't see how did the two teams manage some good play with same Sun? To me this is the same situation as the Bulls getting robbed against Rhino's at magic weekend when ref failed to spot 2 mistakes leading to Rhino's try that won the game. For me should be put in front of Cummins and miss a couple of games.

| Quote: wrencat1873 "He was blinded by the sun for most o the second half. How the heck wasnt the forward pss for their last try spotted ?
It was passed from 4/5 metres from our line and picked up on the half volley 1/2 metre from the line, shocking.
Apart from that we were magnificent. A top effort from 1-17'"
Great game either way even with the numpty in the middle, it all adds spice when the ref is shockingly poor as he was and for both teams. Some of the decisons were, well, just "WHAT!"???? We can say we weren't at our best but you play whats in front of you & thats what Wakefield did and I would have no quarms in saying well done if you had won, you deserved it based on yesterday. Glad we got the 2, you pushed us all the way and you keep that up and you'll be fine over the season.
Look forward to the return at Belle Vue

Cheers for that, Westwood and Briers were excellent for you guys. Westwood was like a man possesed.

Westwood is a machine. I might be biased but hes the best second rower out there at the mo. Week in week out we can depend on him. Actually thought Briers was off a little yesterday although he has been much worse for us at times. Our other second rower - Waterhouse is starting to show form but we missed Carvell and also Hodgson too.
Great game though, much better than blowing teams away each week.

| Outstanding, and Warrington didn't play poor.I knew the...... we didn't play well....excuses wouldn't take long to surface.Wakefield matched them in all departments, when they were under pressure they soaked it up and fought back for all the 80 mins. The refs inability to know the difference between 6 and 7 cost Trin a well deserved victory.

| Quote: Tommy Duckfingers "Might as well be the first, well done lads. Very good performance and deserved the win, unlucky bounce for the 2nd to last try and a dodgy forward pass for the last one was the difference.
Still plenty to work on (letting the ball bounce and kicking from hand for starters) but best performance of the year so far.
Good effort.'"
Did not go but its pleasing to be looking forward instead of backwards.

What do you expect he is a wakefield lad after all.

| I was listening to the match on the radio and it was the first game in a while I have been on the edge of my seat right until the end of the game! Looking forward to kicking on and winning 2 points against Catalans!

Listened to the first half on radio Leeds and the second on wire fm, it seemed like the Ben Westwood fan club late in the game.
Bens a quallity grafter and never stops.

| Yorkshire radio is the best for commentary if you have access to a digital radio or indeed the Internet

| Quote: Khlav Kalash "Mentioned last week i'd be delighted if goal kicking was to cost Trinity this match, turns out it did. Must have been a great effort from all players to push Warrington all the way, and to be honest its sounds like they were unlucky to lose.
Another big effort needed again next week, hopefully the team take heart and confidence into the Catalans match.'" nothing to do with the goal kicking mate at all. the boys were robbed and smithy knew it. when he was interviewed he must have been embarrassed knowing that 3 of the tries they scored were from 2 forward passes and the referee can't count 6. it was a disgrace. the standard of refereeing in this country is a joke. most of the referees in sl wouldn't get a game in oz. great effort from the boys

| this performance against any other team in the league apart from warrington and we would of walked away with 2 points.. this said, i couldnt agree more about the referees having no discaplinary. amateur refs dont make as many mistakes as he did on sunday, and something really needs to be done. if a coach had a bad of a day as alibert it would be talked about for weeks, but he will just move on to next week without blinking an eyelid.

| Just watched Superleague show deffo 2 of Wolves trys were forward passes. That i can live with but the 7th tackle mistake should have the ref in hot water. If we just dismiss this and just think it's either falling on deaf ears or if it's not broken don't fix it then the same mistakes will be made. Ref should be made accountable and accept his punishment. An apology for a start from him or his boss would probably help.
